I always look when I'm online, but I'm usually the only name on the roster, I find... :(

That's usually the way it is for me too. I'm either on to roll over doff assignments for just a few minutes or when I'm gonna be on for longer, it's just me or maybe one other person who's already in a mission. Maybe some fleet events should be organized, or try for a regular meet up to do stf's or things of that nature. I'll set an event later, try to gauge interest/availability.

Wait, we did they project already?

    How did I miss this?

Still looks nice and now we have a place where we can do fleet meeting stuff.

I tend to be on in the early hours (EST) of the morning, and yeah, usually one or two people on the roster.

Its kinda hard for us to organize a meeting because we're scattered all over the world. I know there are a couple of europeans and I'm in Singapore. So regardless of time, some of us are either playing, working or sleeping. :D

I'm usually the only one on. However, my daughter said she saw a fleet member at the starbase the other day.

Yeah, I was curious about ships and other things like weapons. I can afford some things but didn't purchase anything yet until I know the rules. Do we have any rules or is it just "help yourself" until someone takes advantage of the system? What happens when we run out of provisions?

There needs to be mini games or something at the star base to keep people there for more than a few minutes. Maybe operating probes from a distance doing wave form analysis. Scanning remote systems for life forms, enemies.

I created an event for this Sunday, 12pm PDT, hope people can make it!

I'm usually the only one on, too, but the KDF side is pretty inactive, and I only play for about 15-25 minutes a day, if that.

Hey guys, had a blast playing the cure space run today with fellow fleet members, got a couple sweet prototype drops and now I have a question... or plea as it were... :)

One thing I never got into was crafting but got my r&d over 1500 today and I'm thinking Aegis set, the only thing I'm missing. It is super expensive and being this is a fleet I was wondering if I can ask for help on this one?

I'm starting with the shield and I am short materials:

    common and uncommon unreplicatable materials
    photonic technology

The photonic tech is in the fleet bank but I don't have permissions it would seem for that so I turn to my fleet.

    Can anyone help? :)

Depressingly, the DEV that posted that has the title of Lead Content Designer.

Yep, 200k DIL grind for a fishtank is what the lead content designer has been up to...

    *sigh*

The photonic tech is always the harded for me to get. I can usually get the other materials first. How much are you short? I've crafted six of the Aegis Set and just started collecting for another toon now.

Aegis was great when it came out, but as time's moved forward, they've released many more sets, and never really went back to make the others competitive again. Isn't Aegis essentially a Mk X set?

It's not BAD, and easy enough to get, but just not sure it's worth the outlay. Borg, MACO, and Omega are all better if you can run the STFs (Borg set can be had easily, just 15 EDC now, and you can get 4 at a whack by running the wednesday STF bonus). The Dominion set (from the FE) is probably the best of the easy/free ones right now at Mk XI. Breen isn't worth it, but easy enough to collect, probably a decent set to grind on as you level up, although you'd have to KEEP doing it, as it's another one that sets itself at the level you are when you pick it up.

Not sure that works, as The Breen set is only unlocked very near level cap. I think you get the Jem'Hadar set earlier, bust still pretty close to endgame.

Is there a set that you can get as early as mid levels anymore?

Edit: That assumes you are not already Vice Admiral when entering Romulan Space...

Not true, you can run the Breen missions early. I had a set that was Mk IV on one toon, early on. When they opened the FEs to everyone, you could do it immediately, pretty much.

Since you can skip missions at will, you can do them whenever you want anyway, and it'll just be at that level. Of course, means that you have to KEEP running those sets of missions if you want to level them up, you don't get one set you can use forever.

Conversely, I was trying to get my KDF character the Borg set before it got harder to achieve (so was running a few STFs to get it quick), and realized I didn't have the console. Of course, she's been a Lvl 50 for a year at least. Dug around and found the mission that awards it to you. The problem? She'd never been to Borg space. Or Breen space. Or Cardassian space. Got Lvl 50 on that character by just playing the KDF-unique missions and then running DOFF missions, I had to skip like 35-40 missions to be allowed to run the Borg one I wanted.

But you can do it, just keep skipping until you get what you need...

well the photonic tech I have 0

common unreplicatable I only need 3 of those

uncommon unreplicatable material I have 0 - hard to get

Interesting, Aegis set is only a Mark X? How surprising... perhaps I should bother then... I have the maco, omega sets. Guess there is no need to go less powerful...
