I just checked.

Second Wave has a minimum level requirement of 45 and Cold Call 48.

That used to be different, but at least since free to play the FEs have been level gated.

of course these days you really reach VS long before you get to these missions.

And you can't skip everything either without a minimum level.

The "gateway" short missions into new sctor blocks can't be skipped if under level.

The meetup was fantastic, lots of people showed up to chat, to have some fun and we even got a Khitomer Accord space run through. I'll set another one soon!

Yeah, I enjoyed that. Didn't really know what the heck was going on in Khitomer, but happy to not die... were we on Normal or Elite?

Having gone on about EDC for the Borg engines, it seems the Fleet Advanced set also boosts Sector Space speed... Quick question, Spdx3 or Turnx3 better for a Sci ship? Oddly, the turn rate seems to be 16 on both, but I assume that would change once slotted?

ETA: Normal, I guess, from the single EDC reward and a sphere guarding the gate rather than a cube.

I had up go too, after the melee weapon sparring by the conference table. But I enjoyed actually getting the chance to have some fleet camaraderie.

That meeting definitely needed the table dancing, so I was happy to oblige.

I'd like to say thanks to everyone for coming out. I'm really glad we had such an amazing turnout, far better than I could have predicted! We got a lot of the Fleet together, we chatted, we got crazy and even got an STF in!

So, I'm making a note here; "Huge Success!"

Yet another thing for the fleet grind...except without actually being a base. Might be cool, but unless they lower the starbase costs to be more in line with fleet size, or use different resources for the embassy, I don't see it happening very well.

So... WHY are we doing the "Acquire Fleet Bartender" mission? He's no different to the one we all have on our ships, except he wants stupid amounts of Dosi rotgut and Romulan ale (250 of each!). I had to buy ale just to do the Doff assignment for my shipboard guy, who wanted SIX bottles...

Meh, just rerun the Romulan missions where it drops occasionally.

Because there isn't another special project available till one of our departments reach tier 3, which won't happen for a few months?

OK, just saying its likely to drag on. And I wasn't in the fleet two months ago. Have still put half a dozen ales in so far... Don't have any rotgut left but dropped a few bottles into fleet bank when I joined.

We'll probably skip the Tier 3 Chef project. A lot of fleets are currently stuck trying to find 1,000 Heart of Targs.

Yah, I heard it would cost about a billion EC to buy all them from the exchange - which you can't, because there aren't that many.

Most simple fix: have a 1% drop chance of them on killing Targs... all that is needed to flood the exchange

Not sure were to get the Taspar Eggs... they seem a lot more common and cheap despite being a "rare" blue item.
