Who Would You Cast As Captain Picard In A New Series or Movie?

Let's say you have a new Star Trek series or a movie sometime in the next ten years that has some kind of flashback or flashforward to the era of Captain Picard aboard the Enterprise-D.

Assume you had to get a new actor to portray Picard of that era.

Who would you suggest?

She has the acting skill and gravitas to pull off the role.

Not only a logical choice, but a pretty damn good one. The man can definitely act and has box office appeal.

Though I'm not sure how I'd feel about a Picard with hair.

Impossbile. Picard is one of the few characters that I think is impossible to recast with a new actor.

Maybe they'll try after the reboot Trek with Kirk? They better get a hell of an actor for Picard and Data though. It will be tough.

Hmm... Fassbender would be an interesting choice. Mind you, why not go French and have Jean Dujardin (The Artist) as Jean-Luc Picard? That'd solve the French issue.
