Nic Cage stars in what looks to be the Falls funniest Comedy.

The trailer speaks for itself, pure hilarity:

So it's a rip off of 'Taken', but with Nick Cage instead of someone that can actually act...

riiiiiiiiight....

When I saw this title, I thought photos of Cage as Superman must have resurfaced.

Ah, that's a bit unfair. Cage is very good when he actually put in the effort (which is admittedly not too often these days). I like Neeson personally and he's a watchable leading man but with a few exceptions, he's pretty much the same in every role.

That looks like possibly the most original film ever...oh no, wait...

On the plus side he does at least look like he's taking it seriously so kudos on that front!

As for Neeson, he can be a bit boring, but not many guys in their fifties known as ac-tors reinvent themselves as quite scary action heroes!

^Oh yeah, KUDOS for that - as he said himself, it was ironic that they waited till he was that age and his knees were about to go before they started offering him those roles!

Of course, Cage was best known as the offbeat, unconventional star of indie movies until he hit paydirt with The Rock.

I shouldn't be shocked anymore about Hollywood these days. But still, watching the trailer for the first time I couldn't believe how many bits it apparently stole from other movies.

I guess they are calling this Stolen because the name Taken was already taken;)
Nothing new in this movie judging from the trailer,
and all of this may have been done better in other films already:shifty:

I'm trying to remember the last Nic Cage movie I enjoyed, and it's just not coming. At least, not unless I go back as far as Moonstruck.

Adaptation. will always be a classic, and Matchstick Men is pretty darn good also. Haven't seen Bad Lieutenant, but it was pretty well-reviewed.

:o I keep forgetting he was in Matchstick Men. The movie was highly underrated, and Cage himself was overshadowed by both Sam Rockwell and Alison Lohman. For that matter, Lord of War wasn't too bad, but it's Jared Leto's performance that really stuck with me.

think the last Nick Cage film i really enjoyed was Face Off really...

I know it's not a fantastic flick, but it's one i can chill out and enjoy randomly for some odd reason
