Favorite Tv episode that mentions star trek

Saturday Night Live's final voyage of the Enterprise with John Belushi, and Star Trek: The Restaurant Adventure, with William Shatner.

True but that is pretty old school.

The most modern, that comes to mind would be

The Big Bang Theory (it's dripping with references)

..And it is also awesome.

Not "old school," "classic."

Big Bang Theory is awesome.

Another favorite Trek spoof of mine is Futurama. Not just the Trek episode with Welshie, but the episode when they go to Zoidberg's home planet for mating. (I think) they use the battle music from Arena as their national anthem. (Am I remembering that correctly?)

I agree big bang theory not seen futurama though. i wanna be an honourary member of starfleet but don't wanna pay all the fees from the states :wtf::wtf::wtf::wtf::scream:

Doctor Who 'The Empty Child'. Rose wants the Doctor to use high tech means to locate a space capsule, rather than asking people if they've seen it. "Give me some Spock!" She later introduces him to Captain Jack as 'Mr. Spock.' The Doctor uses the Vulcan salute in 'Fear Her'. In 'The Impossible Astronaut' Joy sees a Silence and thinks it's a friend wearing a Star Trek mask.

And a lot of people have suggested that the bridge of the 'Galaxy class' space liner in 'A Christmas Carol' is very reminiscent of nu-Enterprise. There's certainly a lot of lens flare.

Sort of. The Fight Music was only featured in season 2 episodes, with its first use being in Amok Time.

The show that comes to my mind immediately is Stargate SG-1 which had numerous Star Trek references. My personal favorite is from "Redemption part 1"

Major Samantha Carter: Navigation?
Colonel Jack O'Neill: Check.
Major Samantha Carter: Oxygen, pressure, temperature control?
Colonel Jack O'Neill: All check.
Major Samantha Carter: Inertial Dampeners?
Colonel Jack O'Neill: Cool!... and check.
Major Samantha Carter: Engines?
Colonel Jack O'Neill: All Check. Phasers?
Major Samantha Carter: [smirking] Sorry sir.

:guffaw:

Warmest Wishes,
Whoa Nellie

Absolutely right! I wrote Arena, but in my mind, I was seeing Amok Time.

Well, Kikr and Spock are fighting in a Vulcan arena. It's an understandable mistake.

My personal favourite Trek joke on SG-1 is from the episode The Other Guys.

Felger: "At least my heroes actually exist. If we were home, you'd be at a Star Trek convention dressed like a Klingon."
Coombs: "Vulcan! And how can anyone call themselves a scientist without worshipping at the altar of Roddenberry?"
Felger: "'Oh Captain, how do we solve this problem?' 'I don't know. Something to do with the tachyon emitters, perhaps?'"

Stargate Atlantis, Vegas:

While discussing where the Wraith could be located

Zelenka: He could have abandoned whatever resources he had and just gone into hiding.
McKay: (sarcastically) Oh yes, he probably got a job as a Klingon at Star Trek: The Experience.
Woolsey: That shut down.
Zelenka: Really? Damn, I wanted to see that.

Woolsey being played by Bob Picardo added some adorableness to the scene

I liked that bit on LOST where somebody explained the concept of redshirts to Locke. His response:

"Sounds like this Kirk was a piss-poor captain."

Warehouse 13 has also dropped the odd Trek reference now and then. Ditto for Leverage.

A recent episode of Leverage had a character use the name Will Riker. Jonathan Frakes directed the episode.
