I recently saw a boot-legged copy of Star Trek Nemesis and I was surprised a bit by what was apparently included in the theatrical release, at least this one. I noticed that in the beginning the wedding scene was a bit longer. At one point Picard noted that Dr. Crusher was leaving the Enterprise to go to Starfleet medical on earth during his speech to the Rikers. There was talk about Picard tearing up, then there was the childish and very lame Wesley Crusher cameo that really wasted 30 seconds of my life. For me the bigger surprise was an actual, albeit short, quib about Worf not enjoying the duites of a diplomat and how Crusher was glad to have seen him before she leaves. So I guess his reason for being there was explained...slightly. There was also a very short scene extension where the Rikers stop dancing, because Will wants to join the band to play. The Data/Picard scene about new worlds was there which was really awesome to see. The next scene of note was when the crew met in the observation lounge to discuss going to Romulous. After the meeting, Worf pulls Picard aside to basically say I recommend extreme caution and the Romulans are without honour.
The Ten-Forward scene where Data brings in an up and operational B-4 with the Rikers and Worf looking on was there which I actually found as touching. I saw this one on YouTube already so that was no big surprise. The next scene was a big surprise. There was a scene where Deanna talks to Picard about her concerns with Data's reaction to B-4. There was a scene where Riker mentioned how the Remans were in the Dominion War which was a big surprise to me. The next scene of note was when they meet Shinzon. There was slightly more dialogue between Shinzon and Worf having to do with the both of them being warriors. Then there's talk about the Scimitar's weapons that I don't recall seeing on the DVD, but I could be wrong there. There was a funny scene in which Shinzon's existance as a clone was explained where they think the Romulans must have gotten a skin cell sample instead of his hair.
Next there's the deleted scene that I think we've all seen where Deanna and Picard are talking while walking about Shinzon's motives and thoughts. There's a slight scene extension with Picard and Crusher talking about Shinzon. The next scene of note is the deleted scene where Deanna is mind raped in the elevator. There's a little scene extension with Picard and Shinzon when Picard is beamed away. Just more talk about his motives and threats. The next scene of note is the scene where Picard and Crusher talk right after Picard has ordered red alert, battle stations. There's just more dialogue, but nothing overly important. The next scene of note, was right after B-4 and Picard talk, there's a scene where Worf and LaForge are clearing out Data's quarters, and Data's cat spot, jumps into Worf's arms after Worf says he's not a cat person or some such. Then Picard is in his ready room and he's speaking to Dr. Crusher and she wants him to come to the officer's mess to enjoy the band, but he says he can't...then Riker and Picard say their goodbyes. Then is the deleted scene where Riker speaks to Madden and pulls a joke on him, Picard sits in his new chair...blah, blah, blah...end..roll credits.
It didn't make the movie significantly better and the sound sucked cuz it was being recorded in a movie theater, but I thought I'd tell you all about it.
