PICTURE POST!

I found a few of my older drawings. I don't have much from before I was a teen here with me in NYC, though I think my mom has some in Seattle. These three pictures would have been done when I was about 14 or 15, back when I worked primarily in pencil. My subjects were much younger then, and I think I've changed a lot as an artist. The cat picture I drew after I had a dream that my tuxedo cat, Maxwell, had giant furry purple butterfly wings.

Those are gorgeous and fun to look at, tsq! You're a very talented artist! I especially liked the first drawing...so much personality in that face!

Excellent use of b & w crosshatching!

tsq, your talent continues to make me sick. Sick with envy. Also food poisoning, but that may have been the burrito. The jury's still out. :shifty:

I keep telling you not to heat them up by keeping them in your pants.

But do you listen? No.

And spackle is a widely used ingredient in many foods served in the Chick-fil-A chain.

But we won't go there.

My dog gave up on the second day of hiking the Lost Coast.

I'm still not positive he wasn't just looking for a free ride:

^Hmm, I'd say the look on your dog's face is "Look what I made the sucker do." ;)

I'm envious of all you artistic people who can draw. I can't do proportional stick people, which is why I stick to cross-stitch and knitting, where I can follow other people's designs.

Drawing is mostly based in the learned skill of learning how to see correctly. Anyone can learn it, even if anyone may not have a natural aptitude or artistic flair.

My local community college offers beginners' drawing courses, so I'm going to look into those. I've always wanted to dabble in cross-stitch design, but that requires the ability to draw, which I currently lack.

Great art people. The book Drawing On The Right Side Of Your Brain was of great use to me.

Here are some shots of my recent trip up Pikes Peak

I like the new pics, Davros. It's kind of like watching clips from a John Malkovich travel documentary. :)

Finally got our Photopass CD from when we went to Disney World in June! All but a couple of days from our week+ long stay was accented by rain from Tropical Storm Debbie, or as my wife and I said "Debbie did Disney". But how can you not be happy when you're in Disney? :D (Besides, it kept the temp and crowds down a bit.)

Our typical outfits for the stay:

One of our last days in the park, and a rare dry one:

Our youngest:
(Had to do a quick edit on this one. His lanyard *used* to say "My dad's cell number is ###-###-####". )

LoL

indeed. Plus: you're cute, Davros!
Thanks

^ Nice pics, Davros. Aren't you an American teacher in Japan?
The one teaching in Japan in Danoz, while Davros (like Pike's Peak) is in Colorado.

Nifty view, I must say. :)

:o Sorry for the mix-up, and thanks for the clarification.
No big deal. It's hard to keep track of so many people as we have here on the TrekBBS.
