Yay, twins! :D
Cripes. Wait for a hybrid muscle car. ;)

The 'Stang has been costing me a lot this month, partly because it uses 33% more gas to go the same distance as my riceburner but mostly because I'm driving it about four times as much.
Eh, I'm fine with the gas prices. Well, not fine, but I'm used to them. Large part of it is taxes after all and it goes to stuff like your health care.

I remember when I was in the US and filled up the rental car I had for less money then it took for me to get a quarter of a tank for my car back home. While prices may have gone up a bit since then, you guys don't exactly have a reason to feel bad about gas prices ;)

I'm leaving for Seattle in a couple of days to celebrate the 4th, and also to celebrate the arrival of my new nephew. At least, he's supposed to be arriving. He was supposed to be arriving several days ago as a matter of fact. My poor sister just sent me this:

Remind me never to get pregnant! I don't believe in such nonsense, but just in case, everyone send her labor vibes!

Davros, the picture of the houses in Colorado Springs is both scary and gorgeous. Are you the one who posted a pic from the summit of a 14-er a few pages back? If so... which one?

Wow that's amazing. :D Any chance you could post a bigger version of the first shot? I'd love to use it as a wallpaper.

No problem. Just click to Embiggen!

Lovely photo, The Seeker. I may have to use it, too.

Being Scottish is fun!

Nice! :bolian:

TSQ, that picture is making my stomach hurt. I'm looking forward to seeing a picture of the kid who's taking up all that space! :lol

Believe me, I would never complain about gas prices in the U.S. We do pretty damn well relative to other folks, year in and year out.

Are they going to have to induce labor? Anyway I hope your new nephew arrives fine. You already have one, yes? Is he excited about being a big brother? :)

I myself am an uncle several times over and it is a great thing. I'm about to be one again in fact, my sister-in-law is due sometime this winter I think!

Whoo! Labor has begun! Yes, I have a nephew who is now 2.5. I haven't seen him since Christmas, though, but he's a sweetheart and he asked my sister about 4 months ago, can the baby "come out and play now?" SO CUTE!

Sending good labour vibes to your sister, tsq, and I'm looking forward to squeeing over photos of your new nephew. :)

Man, that bump photo brought back memories. Both my boys were induced on their due dates, but my daughter, who's my oldest child, was 5 days overdue before labour began. Longest 5 days of my life!

Haven't posted pics of the godbabies in a while, but I just found out today that they will be expecting a new sibling in about 7 months! I can't believe how frickin' big they're getting.

They are so gorgeous!

I have another great-nephew due in August. I'm so looking forward to cuddling a newborn again. :)

thanks - it was from Sydney. I did not wanna go back home. Looking back on posting that photo i look a bit moody. So this is me in the sunshine - the two seconds of summer we had in the UK :-)
