I love how Spock still looks utterly dorky, or "Vulky' as was used as an insult in VOY's Real Life (and in the book Mosaic). Thank goodness he doesn't touseled hair.
Has the following pic of Alice Eve in costume (but behind the scenes) with Zachary Quinto been discussed here yet? Her outfit may be of significance:

I've lost track of what's been discussed where, but the color picture is on the Trekmovie site:

It's a Starfleet uniform, that's for sure. Note the blue swatches on Quinto's shoulders. There's also a patch on the left arm. No signs of rank, though.
Stargate Atlantis called, they want their uniforms back.

Oh, I get it now. I was racking my brain wondering who in that picture of Atlantis cast you were relating to Barney Miller. Then it dawned on me you switched over to Firefly due to Jewel Staite in my postMal Reynolds called, he wants his Engineer back

I'd hoped we'd go the Lost In Space route, but I can play this ...

Space Therapist called. He wants his thread back.
Hmmmm. If Dehner's in the film(unconfirmed, of course) then there might be a very good chance that Gary Mitchell is as well since Trekkers tend to associate one with the other.
The new comics aren't considered canon(what TREK comics are)
if there are any subtle hints and clues being dropped in them
the second one could fall for the genetic superman and be tempted with being the consort of someone with incredible powers.
Thanks for the reminder about Gary, Therin. I don't follow the new comics like I probably should.
We hardly required Dehner for that, though, did we?Hmmmm. If Dehner's in the film(unconfirmed, of course) then there might be a very good chance that Gary Mitchell is as well since Trekkers tend to associate one with the other.

Plenty of people had insisted from early on that Gary Mitchell HAD TO BE in the first movie because of his close association with Kirk, to the extent that they were unable to accept as valid any scenario in which Mitchell did not prominently figure and were grandstandingly miffed at his utter failure to appear in that movie.
