When the Duras sisters were watching him they said he "bathed". What if he had a wank in the bath? Would they have been aroused or just turned it off?
I wouldn't say they've hit rock bottom... ... but I'm pretty sure you can see it from this altitude...
Don't you know people don't have impure thoughts in the 24th century? That's why Barclay was treated as such a freak. You can have the ship's cheerleader flashing her cameltoe in spandex all day, but god forbid anyone should dare think of planting their flag therein.
He reall yought take his visor off in the bath. I've seen how much my missuses glasses steam up just standing near it...
I thought that the title of this thread was supposed to offer an explanation as to why Geordi went blind.
You beat me to it. In a manner of speaking. A lot of us Yanks use that word too, you know. Slang travels fast in this age of the interwebz.
Pretty much, Jumper is like Overall shorts in American, and a sweater in Britain. Gas is Petrol in Britain. And so many others
I've never actually heard an American use the word "jumper" at all...except to describe a person who jumps.
everyone here assumed that rubbish film with anakin skywalker a few years ago was about warm clothing and gave it a miss
of course-I was just being sarcastic towards the comment that "British English" was just "English," as if their way of speaking it was the correct way and that American English wasn't really English. (at least that's how I interpreted the "aka, er English?" question)
