But is her hotness canon or just something we perceive as the viewers?

 

She's clearly attractive to us viewers because we are humans, and she is half-human. It might stand to reason that other species do not have the same standards of attraction as we do, and might perceive her as not hot.

For example, Lursa and B'etor might have been considered attractive Klingons, but I thought they looked hideous. They had some nice cleavage, though.

Good question. If there's an on-screen reference in dialogue to Troi having amazing legs and tits then it's canon.

 

I always wondered why Troi didn't wear a traditional Star Fleet uniform for the first 6 seasons and why that seemed ok with Star Fleet's dress code.

 

Well, not sure about Troi, but her mother does comment on Picard and Riker's legs (she called Picard's "handsome" and Riker's "nice, too"), so that's canon.

Not sure I like the idea of Picard and Riker's legs being mentioned so highly in canon, without any mention of Deanna's legs.

 

I actually didn't mind Troi (and even Yar, albeit in a blink and you missed it moment) in the miniskirt uniform. I think it should have remained an optional variant or casual duty uniform that could be alternated with the regular uniform. It wouldn't be something she'd wear all the time in such a case.

 

Yeah, too bad. I can't think of any References to Troi like that.

Yeoman Rand's ass is nice according to canon, at least as close as you can get I think, since CharlieX felt the sudden urger/need to spank her. I'd say a lot of us know that feeling.

 

Honestly, I think the black contacts she wore made it difficult to read her eyes and I MUST SEE AN ACTOR'S EYES TO CONNECT WITH THE CHARACTER!!!!!!

 

I thought that uniform looked ridiculous. Troi/Marina herself was and is lovely, but that uniform looked badly made and didn't even fit all that well. And it looked retro - and not in a good way.

 

She does ask Beverly if her boobs are getting firmer too, but I don't know if that qualifies as "amazing".

 

She's obviously a transvestite.

I actually think she looked way hotter in the final episode, because she got a much better fit, & wore it much better. Plus, her hair had been softened to look more flattering

Maybe a more relaxed and approachable image suited her position better. Personally, I thought it was a shame that they had her hair pulled back and tied up for the first season.

 

That second uniform is so much better than the first one, Mojochi - the first one could have been sewn by me, and I'm a dreadful seamstress!

I think she really looks great in the regular SF uniform, but hey, I'm a heterosexual female, so WDIK?
