It is common knowledge that years before Deep Space Nine and Enterprise did "Mirror Universe" episodes that the writer who penned the orginal "Mirror, Mirror" submitted a script to The Next Generation producers for a sequel to that episode. IIRC, according to Starlog, he submitted it during the third season of ST:TNG. But the script featured one or more of the original series characters and the producers did not want to do that back then. Is there any way to get a copy of that script?

If Paramount had bothered to keep any of the freelance pitched scripts, the likelihood that they weren't torched after TNG (or DS9, Voyager or Enterprise) ended is slim.

Re: Any Way to Get A Copy of Jerome Bixby's ST:TNG "Mirror, Mirror" Se I don't know the particulars, but it is entirely possible the writers kept his draft "on the books" as it were, for possible future use/retooling. If it had survived to the point when Enterprise wrapped production, it's highly likely Bixby's draft was tossed in the recycle bin. Whether or not the "rights" to the story reverted back to Bixby (bearing in mind it was a story about Star Trek, a property Paramount owns) is a different matter entirely. Like I said initially - the best place to start would be the Bixby's estate.
