I enjoyed it a lot as well, though I'll admit I missed James Caan's name in the credits and wasn't sure it was him. I thought the character looked a little like Caan, but he seemed too old. Last thing I saw him in was Elf, so in my mind's eye that's what James Caan still looked like. Finally got a chance to watch it last night. What a fun episode. I loved it.

Hawaii’s Five-0 task force will be without its leader for a little while. Hawaii Five-0 star Alex O’Loughlin will miss at least one episode of the CBS crime drama for a stint in rehab. “Alex is taking a short break from Hawaii Five-0 to receive supervised treatment for prescription pain medication due to a recent shoulder injury,” a rep for the actor said in a statement.
The series, which is ahead of schedule, is now shooting episode 20. Production will proceed as planned, with Hawaii completing its Season 2 order. “We respect and support Alex’s decision,” CBS Studios, which produces the series said. “Everyone at CBS Television Studios and Hawaii Five-0 wishes him well and we look forward to his return.”
I do as well. I wonder how they'll explain why his character was out of action.
What?! We just came back from a break!!Really great episode! I think the next new one isn't until April 9th, though.
The whole time I was thinking if they turned March into puff pastry it would totally betray the series. I knew they couldn't and wouldn't because he was such a dirtbag in "Wooden Model Of A Rat" and so this ending was right on the money. I was never worriedHe had me fooled, too! I totally thought he was a harmless old man.

Who was Rose Freeman?
But he was a charming, very cultured dirtbag, and Asner and the writers definitely nailed that this week, particularly the scene where March and Kono examine the diamond in Fong's lab.The whole time I was thinking if they turned March into puff pastry it would totally betray the series. I noticed that, too. A nice touch on their part. They did something similar last season when James MacArthur died, didn't they? And thanks to the production team for the "In Loving Memory" to Rose Freeman at the end.
