Star Wars: The Clone Wars S4

Anybody else think the masked ninja leader was Savage Oppress for awhile? They showed him in the clipshow and the dude had yellow eyes and was uncommonly powerful against Ventress.

Nah. His movements were way too fine and nimble for Oppress.

Meanwhile, I really enjoyed this ep. I'm liking the "evolution" of Asajj Ventress, even though its kinda been spaced out over an entire season. I hope we at least get some sense of resolution as to where she ends up next week or even this season.

Fett humiliated again. HA! Whatta loser.

Ventress never gets laid, just kills any man who hits on her.

:mallory:

She is into BDSM:

Oh yeah, I remember that storyline. At the end of Jabiim, she has Obi-Wan in a "Sith torture mask" which was pretty much just and S&M mAK. Unintentionally hilarious.

Really enjoyed this episode. It was a lot of fun with all the bounty hunters and return to Mos Eisley spaceport and an interesting development for the Ventress character. Would be a good sendoff for her.

Smeg, this is the second week I tuned in expecting to see Maul. When is he on?

Good episode though.

Too bad we don't get the season finale(s) aired first in the UK, like last season ...... But with the hype around the return of Darth Maul, it would probably be unlikely to happen.

I really like yesterday's episode as well. It would have been neat to see Boba wearing armour more reminiscent of what he'll wear in the OT, but I guess it's too soon for that. I noticed his blasters were the same as what Jango used in AOTC.

And I'm also really liking the depth of character being given to Ventress and look forward to seeing how that continues to develop. I also loved the look of the fx for her lightsabers in this episode. Nice to see Bossk & Dengar too.

Good episode. They're finally making Ventress into something more than just another wannabe Sith. The bounty-hunters came off as bad ass, even if they did get their asses beat in the end. And, even it was a bit cliched, it was a nice change for Ventress from her usual self at the end of the story.

I was wondering why Boba wore a different helmet. Is there something canonical in RotS about how he gets the helmet, so he couldn't get it before then? I don't remember if he was in that movie, though I don't think he was. Or if not the movie, maybe something in the EU?

Nothing in RotS that covers him getting the helmet. According to Filoni on sw.com (trivia slide 10):

"Rather than use his father's armor, which would still be a tad big for him, we gave him his own unique helmet and armor. It's a step towards who he will become, but to get to the final famous look from the classic films, he will need to get some help..."

The backstory in CW is that his armor and Jango's are repurposed from Mandalorians. Presumably there weren't Mandalorian armor that were his size yet.

^I see. I guess I figured his head was big enough by now, since he's clearly undergone a growth spurt and his character design now resembles the Clone Trooper face more closely.
