In the Theme contest, our impressive new kid Miss Lemon wins her first Golden Porthos in her first contest, in a tie with Admiral Shran! Congrats! Naturally, they both used pictures related to baby Elizabeth. There was a 3-way tie for second place between JiNX, od0, and yours truly. Puppy kisses for the runners-up!

Congratulations to the winners -- everybody gets a prize this week! And thanks to all the entrants and voters for taking part.

The next episode in our backwards journey is "Shuttlepod One." Miss Lemon, it's customary for the Theme winner to pick the theme for the next contest, so it's up to you and Shran to agree on one.

I've done animated avs for others (who then moved on to whip my butt in the av contests ).
They choose the images and then make them into avatars and I put them into my animation program and turn them into a picture show.

I have a dvd player program on my computer that has a feature that allows me to make my own screencaps. So, if I want to make a mini-movie (like my episode entry), I rapid click on the "camera" in the program to get as many consecutive images as I can and then select the ones that will work the best and put them into the animation program.

If you ever want an animated av to wear on the TrekBBS or use in a contest, pick out the pictures you'd like or give me a scene you'd like to have turned into a mini movie... and I'll do it for you. I have ENT and TOS dvds. I also have some seasons of Stargate Atlantis (in case you want a Michael av or two ).
