I guess the top of the fridge is no longer a safe place to hide the treats.

Ugh, for real? The games are sooo lame. Eh, to each his own. I'm a real gamer.

Ah, I disagree. Not lame. I loved the original way back when. The more recent ones are not as good but that's to be expected.

He is a 'real gamer' if anyone is. In fact, our love of gaming brought us together. He makes his own games as well.:p My nerd.<3

lol. Sorry, I meant no offense. Ugh, everything I say comes off the wrong way. :(

Oh no, don't worry about it. All is good.:)

It's just that he has a game/console collection bigger than anyone else I've met.:D

Being a real gamer used to involve learning all sorts of rules, calculating combat odds and a level of social stigma. But console gaming back then was on an Atari 2600. :)

I still have my Atari 2600 and all the original cartridges. I haven't plugged it up in a while so I'm not sure if the system still works like it's supposed to, but I made sure to keep my console and games after I grew up. I adore my Xbox 360, but nothing compares to being a kid in the '80s and gaming on the Ataris and Colecovision. :adore:

Amazing that Mr Do and Venture could have been as much fun as they were. But being old I still think of real gamers as people who know what this is and how to play.

But I'm old.

Are you in New Mexico by any chance? If so, that would explain all the hot-air balloons. NM holds a very large, annual hot-air balloon festival, and I think it's around September or October.
