tarzan and the mad man

how cool is that.

yeah, those two stories were published posthumously so that may be a factor.

TARZAN THE JESSE MARSH YEARS omnibus hc 49.99 out next week. I have'nt read these I was wondering if anyone has and if they are any good.

My shop did'nt get it yet . And, for some reason comixology has yet to send me a verification so I can buy comics there.


Also there will be a spin off series called "the warriors of mars".

this is one of my favorite series by burroughs and here is my reading list for john carter of mars:

now last two I have never read and are the hardest to find and I am hoping soon
that all the books will be in e form.

I have the whole set from when Burroughs was big in the 1970s. I reread some of them every so often.

I think you'll enjoy it. rember it's set 1000 years before dejah thoris which is a 1000 years before a princes of mars.

now good news is they finally started releasing the venus pirate series:

warlord of mars Dejah thoris #10 is out this week.

under the moons of mars a new anthology celberating the 100th anniversery is out as well. I hope they do one for TARZAN he turns a 100 this year as well.

Looks like ERB INC is finally putting the hammer down on Dynamite's unauthorized use the Burrourghs characters.

Without getting into the merits of the case, I found this amusing.

Presumably to bolster its claim of "irreparable injury," ERB Inc. takes specific issue with some of the covers and interior art for "Warlord of Mars: Dejah Thoris," insisting they "border on (and in some cases are) pornographic": "On some covers -- covers which defendants refer to as "Risque Nude" exclusive covers -- Dejah Thoris appears topless."

Have they even read these books? The characters run around naked on Mars all the time.
