What's KRAD up to these days?

Actually your third request was for a "hot named woman." So you might be hearing from someone named Calida, Fiametta, Serafina, Keegan, or the like. (Or maybe third-season Katara from Avatar: The Last Airbender. "I'm Wang Fire, and this is my wife, Sapphire Fire.")

Crap, didn't realize the typo. And you just know that trying it a second time will never work. Sorry guys, I did my best. :D

Hey KRAD, maybe I missed it, but did that Zorro anthology ever get released?
As already stated, More Tales of Zorro came out this past spring from Moonstone Books.

Also, I've been looking foward to checking out your Precinct series for awhile now, but mainly just because you're the author... (I don't really know anything about the storyline.)

Is it an 'ongoing series' with an arc, or more stand-alones adventures all set in the same universe with a regular cast of characters?
The books are high fantasy police procedurals -- think Law & Order meets Lord of the Rings -- and each novel is standalone, yes.

(I'm not even gonna touch the "baked woman" comments....)

OTOH, a baked woman probably makes a perfect mystery for a high-fantasy police procedural ...

Hey just curioius, Im currently in the middle of your Buffy book Blackout, absolutely love it, Spike is awesome and i really wish the talks they had going after the series of giving him a 2 hour tv movie had panned out.
In the book you reference past encounters Nikki has had with Darla and Dracula, in fact you give a really cool flashback to how her fight with Darla ends on the docks.
Any chance you will write these stories?

I just finished reading Dragon Precinct and I am reminded why I love this guy's writing so much. It's humorous without being slapstick, but action-oriented and character-driven at the same time, combining the best of both worlds. Will start on Unicorn Precinct today and then move onto SCPD.

KRAD, I can't wait for the others to come out.

I would love to write those stories, and in fact pitched the Darla one to IDW as one of their Angel one-shots, but they didn't go for it.

At this point, the only new Buffy licensed fiction is the post-finale comic book from Dark Horse. There doesn't seem to be a market for anything else at the moment. If this changes, I'll be very happy. :)

Thanks so much! I actually should be working on Goblin Precinct right now instead of posting on message boards....

Yeah, its a shame. Just because the show ends doesnt mean there isnt a fanbase out there willing to buy and read the books, I mean look at Star Trek for example ;)

Star Trek is an exception to the rule. Most tie-in lines don't survive long beyond the cancellation of their shows, because the audience drifts away. It's not like they arbitrarily cancelled the Buffy novels without checking the sales figures. On the contrary, they kept publishing the books for years after the series ended, and it thrived much longer than most tie-in lines do. But eventually, apparently, sales dropped to the point that they couldn't sustain it any longer.
