I always give new posters the benefit of the doubt, but if you feel like you should prove you are the person in the pictures you posted (you certainly don't have to), it would be nice; there have been several people here pretending to be girls about your age who turned out to be not that. I don't know what exactly is the point of doing that, but whatever.

I believe it all goes back to the fact that its easy to hide who you are on the internet. That's partially why i like it so much. Here on the internet, age, gender, skin color, religion and all those other things that make us different in RL doesn't mean anything. Everyone here is just a username and everyone is an equal. (Except for our beloved and glorious leaders, the Moderators)
However some people abuse this and upset the balance. (Bloody hell I'm starting to sound like my philosophy teacher) Why, they do it, I've yet to understand. Perhaps for their own amusement, but either way, to put it like Mr. Maxwell did:

I meant "treat you differently in this forum as a teenage girl than if you're a 50-year-old guy".
