Ok, now that looks pretty damn cool.
 
I hope this is coop like the last one, that was a hell of a lot of fun last time.

Good god, I fucking don't. Or at least I hope any co-op is optional. Resident Evil 5 was a monumental fuck up for me, simply because of the forced co-op. By all means have a co-op element, but making the whole game a co-op experience was a bad move.
 
Another vote for coop. I had a ton of fun with it in re 5. I would like them to tone down the action a little though. I doubt there will be a heavy emphasis on coop in this one though. My guess is that is why they have that new re online game coming out

Thank you! I often despise playing co-op games because I often get stuck with a loud obnoxious kid. The Sheva AI also almost as bad while playing without a partner; I think the Resident Evil games are more scary if you're alone; adds more to the atmosphere. Although RE4 is a partial exception protecting Ashley was both frustrating but hilarious at the same time.

I would like to see them add a tad more survival and a little less action but co-op is must for me after RE 5 though if they can make it optional then it suits everyone.
 
From the trailer it looks like there probably will be a coop aspect, though like Servo I hope they make it optional rather than a fundamental part of the game, like they did with RE5.

Oh, and maybe they've finally learned their lesson and will let players run around and shoot their guns without having to press three or four buttons at the same time. :p
 
I like co-op a lot, but forced co-op like in RE5 really hinders the game. Halo co-op was fun, even if it doesn't make any sense to the storyline since you're all playing as the same character. Transformers: War For Cybertron co-op was a lot of fun too.

This. :cool: I'm by far more a single player gamer than I am multiplayer. Yeah, it's cool to play with a friend. But being forced to play with a bot with horrible AI is just flat out ridiculous. I remember before the finale of RE5, I gave Sheva all of the handgun ammo I had left and didn't even use her gun! :wtf:

She kept just using melee on a mutated giant Wesker. Might as well throw some toothpicks and pebbles.

I am liking the look of this so far, coop sold the deal for me anyway....online mutiplayer i wont touch but i'm sure some will like it.
 
I personally loved the co-op in RE5, but only because it's a game I play strictly with my boyfriend. Really not interested in playing with random people. I can understand why people would be annoyed.

Anyway, this looks great. I am excite!
 
I miss the classic RE style from RE1-RE0. That said, I still enjoyed the last two entries for what they were, so I'm in.

Given the offline specs list Co-op as 1-2 players, i'm guessing it'll be 2 player co-op in the campaign and 6 player in an additional mode, most likely Horde of some kind.
 
So I guess they dropped the idea of rebooting the storyline with RE6.

Works for me, I was interested in seeing where the story was headed anyways.

Me too. I enjoy the characters and the storyline alot so a reboot would be less than appealing to me. I wonder if they saw the backlash DMC got when they rebooted and decided not to do so.
