What does Roxann Dawson think about her time on Voyager?

What does Roxann Dawson think about her time on Voyager? Did she think that she got enough screen time? Does she regret doing the show? Just curious. I've heard the opinion of a lot of the other cast memers, but not her.

Presumably something along the lines of 'without it no one would know who I am'?

To be honest this sentiment should probably be echoed by virtually every Star Trek cast member.

More likely, without it, I wouldn't be able to make a living as a television director.

Technically, most of them are still not that well known ...

Startrek.com in the videos section has some interviews with her where she talks about her time with Voyager implicitly. It also kinda birthed her directing career. :)

I think it is quite obvious that she doesn't "regret" her time on the show. derp

She has a nice career directing, writing and producing, becaus eof the show.

Also, I think she had some hairy armpits and looked like a bad lesbian in one her interviews, but I would still hit it. She has to be around 55 or so.

There are a few exceptions

Robert Picardo, Avery Brooks, Rene Auberjenous, LeVar Burton, Ethan Philips, Colm Meany & Kate Mulgrew were well known before their jobs on Trek.

Wait... Robert Picardo and Ethan Philips were more well known than Patrick Stewart?

In America, I think so.

Most folks know Picardo from "Small Soldiers", China Beach" or "The Wonder Years"
Philips fame comes from "Benson"(a spin off of the popular and at the time very controversial show "Soap") which he co-starred with Rene.

I remember at the time of TNG's premiere, LaVar Burton was the most famous in the cast due to his role in "ROOTS".

Lavar was also pretty well recognized in Reading Rainbow as well.

I remember Soap as a child. Man, that was a long time ago.

I am going to have to go back and watch some Wonder Years episodes. I really don't remember Picardo at all.

For some reason, I sometimes get Ben Kingsley mixed up withj Patrick Stewart. I wasgoing to say Stewart was in House of Sand and Fog, but that was actually , Kingsley.

Picardo is one of those guys who's had bit parts in EVERYTHING. I met him at a convention once where he was seated next to another famous character actor, Joe Pantoliano (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0001592) and I told them they should get together and star the Character Actors Guild because I can't go a week without flipping through the channels and seeing one of them show up in SOMETHING.

I looked up Picardo on Wiki. He played the mean coach on The Wonder Years. I'll be damned. I guess I never noticed, because I didn't know who he was back then.

I am going to go back and watch all those old episodes that he was in.

Yep, that was him.
He's also in "Total Recall"
He was the voice and likeness of "Johnnycab" the robotic cab driver. He also the voice of Amazo in "Justice League Unlimited".

He probably has the most impressive resume out of all the trek actors that played a regular in any Trek series.

I remember when Voyager first started. When I saw Picardo, I was like, "hey, that's the coach from The Wonder Years!"
