Stupid tv shows that you're obsessed with

I love Auction Wars, Pawn Stars and Storage Wars. I really like IRT and it's Deadliest Roads version too. But I gotta say for real stooopid tv and some real stooopid fun I really dig HARDCORE PAWN!! It's a very, very poor ripoff of Pawn Stars. The family on the show is a pathetic mess of idiocy. BUT it's sooo much fun to watch the Detroiters who show up and make complete asses of themselves. Even if they are playing it up for the camera, they're such stoooopid fun!!! I do dig Les's vintage Star Trek pinball machine in his office. (although they keep blurring it out, I know what it is!) And what a great way to tie Trek into all of this! YaY, for meeeee!!!
I have to admit: If I'm channel surfing and the Kardashians are on, I usually end up watching it.
Not just because Kim is hot (though, at my age, I find the mom kind of appealing as well).
I'm fascinated by poor Bruce Jenner who, bad plastic surgery aside, comes across as an incredibly decent, level headed, man who seems to be wishing he could transport himself into a family that isn't insane.

America's Next Top Model. I've watched since the first season, and I'm really not sure why. At first it was alright, but the latest seasons have been downright stupid. Yet I continue to watch....

I've watched a fair amount of both the US and UK versions of Kitchen Nightmares, and I have to say that the UK version comes out ahead. The UK version comes across as a really fascinating show about how to successfully run a restaurant, with all sorts of little bits about hiring and managing staff, taking advantage of locally available foods, and creating an interesting menu. The US version, on the other hand, is completely dominated by ZOMG TEH FAMALY DRAMA. I'd love, just once, for Gordon to find a US restaurant that is failing for any reason other than some sort of deep-seated family discord.
I love Hoarders. The fact that they put that on Netflix was a bad idea.
I used to love to watch some of those Ghost shows, not the more recent ones though. Can't stand them.
The older ones that actually had stories about the person's experience. Those were good... and there's only one show that I can think of (can't remember its name though -- if anyone can, please let me know -- it airs on Animal Planet) that even comes close.
As for other shows, I watch Top Chef and Work of Art every now and then. Just to see what all of the contestants can come up with.

Storage Wars, Pawn Stars the occasional Hoarders.
I'll stop and watch a few minutes of hoarders if there's nothing else on. I've actually been known to stop and watch What Not To Wear and Say Yes To The Dress too but I never sit down to watch full episodes. They're like car accidents. I just can't look away.
I don't find that show stupid at all. It's a pretty compelling documentary about commercial fisherman if you ask me.
