And one that didn't quite work out.

I dunno... maybe you can pretend she's the daughter of the Cheech Wizard... :)

No, not always. I just don't like you.

Shameless, I'd say about 70% of the problems we have to deal with in this thread stem from things you've said, and yet you rarely, if ever, contribute photos of your own from what I've seen. If you don't actively participate in the entire point of the thread and can't control yourself well enough to not cause frequent problems, then maybe you should stop posting in the thread altogether, because as it stands we're pretty fed up with giving you friendlies and infractions and still having to deal with more problems cropping up every few months.
Thanks. I couldn't have said it better :)
That doesn't help. It's a mod friendly, not an invitation for others to jump on Shameless' back. Even though I addressed his comments specifically before, you played your own part in firing right back at him, so let's avoid that in the future please.

All hail the mighty Shameless. Abuser of threads and slayer of rules. May the mods never touch him and may he remain unstoppable!

Visited the German Christmas market on the Southbank and practised a little night photography on the way...

Christmas lights in Covent Garden, just off the Long Acre:

Monmouth Street, leading to the Seven Dials pillar and roundabout:

Difficult to get this absolutely sharp as the bridge I was on at the time kept swinging in the wind!

Experimented with a 30 second exposure, which is the longest I've tried so far:

Millennium bridge with St Paul's cathedral in the background:

View from the bridge itself (not properly centred here, but by now, we were cold and hungry and wanting to go back for some more bratwurst and Aberdeen Angus beef burger :p):

Do tou have the last three in high res, mate? I'd love to use them as wallpapers. With your permission of course.

I should do, ares93. Try clicking on the image itself, when it takes you to Flickr, click on "Actions" in the top left, then select "View all sizes" from the drop down menu, from there you should be able to select "Download the large size of this photo".

If that is not large enough for you, PM me your email, and I'll send them to you direct. Thanks for the compliment!! :)

Thanks! And by "organ" I guess you mean in the sense of "structure"...? :D It's been a long time since I heard the word used that way! :p

Lovely night pics, An Officer! Seems that The Seeker is going to have competition :)
Just something I saw when I visited Delos

^ Are those cave paintings? I wonder how old they are?

And thanks for the nice comment, although I'm not on The Seeker's level yet. I like to think I am not about competition, but about sharing beauty. :)

I've never seen a cave painting (at least the prehistoric ones) that had as much detail as the second one.

Indeed, is about sharing beauty :)
Will put soon some more cruise pics on FB ;)

I envy the amount of time you have to go out on photo shoots An Officer. It seems like the only time I pull out my camera these days is to take pictures of my daughter.

but we like to see your daughter's pics, so no problem :)

a few pictures from achillion, near Corfu, princess sissy's residence

Given the choice between devoting quality time to raising your first born child, and going out to play with cold hard plastic - I can see why it's a no brainer for you. If I had something that small and precious waiting for me to come home, the choice would have made itself for me, too. I'm sure she's going to appreciate and thank you for the type of dad you have been when she grows. :)

I wish I'd had this camera when my siblings were that age actually, I just don't have very good quality pics of them as babies and toddlers at all - making up for that now, though! Need to get myself a portrait lens when I have some cash. :D
