Yeah, that's not something you generally say to people.

My sis and her fiance came out to visit last week along with my brother and his wife, so we did a sort of surprise engagement thing for them. It was small, just the six of us, but I got a cake made for them. The bakery did an awesome job! It was a red velvet cake that looked and tasted amazing.

How cool is that design? Those aren't real flowers!

I don't know what it is -- her expression? the wig? the fact that her head doesn't look completely attached to her body? -- but something about her is completely weirding me out, like she's trying to suck out my soul.

And I mean that in the nicest way possible.

Ha! Make no mistake, she's pure evil! She seems to ALWAYS identify with the evil female antagonist in movies! Her favorite Disney characters are Ursula and Mother Gothel. You should hear her cackle when we sing that "Poor Unfortunate Souls" song from The Little Mermaid and she pretends to steal my voice!

And once when we were sitting down to dinner, she randomly said "It's too late to turn back noooow!" In a little sing-song voice. I don't even know where she got that from!
