Went to the NOAA Satellite Operations Facility yesterday and today to shoot the NPP launch.

Obviously, there was no need to ask if I was at the right building.

It went off without a hitch at 5:48 this morning.

I adopted a dawg that i found on the petfinders.com website. She is about 10 years old and an absolute joy. I named her Bitty because she is such an itty bitty thing.

awww :adore:

Double awwwwwwwww! I just want to pick her up and hug her.

Not impressed Randi. :p I vacuum up twice that much fuzz on a weekly basis. Ugh, speaking of which, tonight is clean the house and vacuum night.

That 3 dogs you are up to now?

2 Labs is about all I can handle...The first breeder breeds 'em big, the second one breeds 'em crazy.

How's the new pooch acclimating?

New business cards.

I can't wait to hand out the non pixelated versions after the new year.

There are some things that aren't legal for me to share at this stage with people I don't know.

Who the hell do you work for, CIA? All this cloak and dagger gives me the creeps. I think I have to start redacting my posts. Seems our resident spook has been found.

There are quite a few laws regarding all this. Pain in the ass.

You want laws, regulations, and general pain in the ass-ness?

Try having securities and insurance licenses. I'm licensed for both in 27 states I think. Every state has its own CE requirement and many don't overlap or transfer.

All I can see in those beady little eyes is lots of sweet love and trust. D'awwww. :D

My car finally got to the point where it had to go. This is my new "toy"

Not entirely, it's a 6 after all ;) Still, nice ride :techman: Auto or manual?

Auto, but has the "manual" transmission setting with the shifting features on the steering wheel. Yes, it's a 3.8 liter V-6, but it's rated at 304hp. with 278ft. lbs. of torque. Trust me, more than enough performance to get one in trouble. Been averaging 26.5mpg, which is a bit less than I was hoping for. Very fun car to drive and the insurance is just about the same as my old Camaro.

Edited to add: Thanks much An Officer, Nioarh and everyone else for the kind words and wishes. AND... I bought this car because it's color sheme matches my hair color! ;)

What you don't want us to know your personal information? Do you not trust us? I resent the implication, sir.

Oh no ..., my worlds are colliding!!!

I've been an attorney for a real estate brokerage company for more years now than I care to count. All I can say is ..., my very best wishes and my most sincere condolences ... to anyone getting into this business.

Well, sad thing about the Auto is not the fact that it's an auto, but that unless you select a limited slip differential as an option, it's "peg-legged". Meaning it only really uses one back tired to put power to the ground.

The engine is actually quite brilliant, one of the nicest torque curves I've seen out of an entry level muscle car. Great performance in a great package. It's just that around here, due to taces, the difference in money in insurance, taxes and gas money between a V6 and a V8 is almost negligible. So I'd personally rather go with that V8 rumble :mallory:

Glad you like your car though, great long distance cars!

Well, I can definately tell you she's not "peg-legged". She's got the posi-rear end. Knocked off the traction control and spun both rear wheels nicely.... just once... ;)
