Night Dragon isn't giving them opportunities, Night Dragon is just a haulage firm that the homeless people cadge a ride off to go somewhere new to try and start fresh.
You don't seem to understand, they're hitch-hiking a ride on the lorries. They're not being given anything more than the chance to start over somewhere else by their own choice to get away from London. The driver of the Night Dragon lorry is sympathetic and will give them a ride for free.
Given that this is the Whoverse, if anything dodgy is going on with NightDragon, its far more likely they are taking the homeless as part of some alien plot, and to be fair that could have made for a sequel episode later in the series, even more so with Ellie having apparently been taken by it.

Was a good episode, and I liked the ending very much.
it was somewhat unusual for a SJA story to end on such a sad note.
I really hope to see Clyde again in other genre shows if not Doctor Who itself.

That was a lot better than I had expected. I thought the acting and filming were quite good. That tracking shot of Clyde running seemed above the call of duty for what they could have gotten by with in a kids show. Not necessarily the cleverest or most original premise but very well executed and a different sort of "monster".

Moving on, The Man Who Wasn't There Part 1
I thought the episode was a bit slow, but it is nice to be reminded of Sarah Janes days as a proper journalist, even if im not sure she could be called the Top 3 journalists in the UK. Even more odd is that only 2 of the 3 top journalists turned up, where was the other one?
Serf is basically Apple, which I guess makes Joseph Serf, Steve Jobs, timing could have been better.
When I say its good to see Luke return, what I mean is I like the idea of Luke returning but as ever Tommy Knight is unimpressive, and has zero chemistry with Sky, its good that Sky meeting Luke sent her more or less back to square one, as any characters development over the missing episodes would have seen odd on screen. I suspect we will see something of the dog whistle next episode, but it would be tragic not to see K9 tomorrow, I suspect he will appear like he did in Goodbye Sarah Jane Smith.
Clyde and Rani dont seem to have much to do this episode, which just adds to the episode being mediocre.
and finally the control of Mr Serf, ok it was cleary he was being controlled from the room, but oddly I was not expecting that set up, seems like a very odd set up for a high tec hologram. I would have preferred the Teselecta.
The control room did seem rather odd. All I can figure is someone at that there are a ton of Steampunk fans in the BBC set department. 
And honestly, I don't mind that Clyde and Rani are in the background here (we get more of them in part 2 apparently) I'd like to see Lis onscreen as much as possible in this last story please.
The one thing I loved about this one though is how well polished the plot felt. Everyone in the cast had their moment and the whole team just seemed to mesh really well. Loved the exchange with the Publicist in Mr Serfs office. The actor was quite good at doing Rowan Atkinson style frustration.
And honestly, I don't mind that Clyde and Rani are in the background here (we get more of them in part 2 apparently) I'd like to see Lis onscreen as much as possible in this last story please.

good to see Rani & Cylde working so well together, but to loose the "pen" was really careless, certainly an improvement for the two over the previous episode.

As an ending to SJA its not "Goodbye Sarah Jane Smith" but the montage was nice.

I get the feeling there was supposed to be a budding romance starting to happen between Clyde and Rani by the end of the series with just hints of it showing in these last 2 episodes.

Exactly why not? I thought it was a perfect tribute and an apt statement, no different than if Doctor Who ended next week. The story does go on forever because people aren't going to forget Sarah Jane and, if taken literally, you'll have fans writing new stories about her (either with the Doctor or in the SJA motif) forever; taken even more literally we have an incredible collection of stories dating back to The Time Warrior that tell the tale of this character and pay tribute to the actress. And I'm speaking as a fan for 25 years for whom Sarah Jane was as much "my companion" as Tom Baker was "my Doctor".

Exactly. I'm grateful that the added that little note at the end. Much better than having the show just stop, like say ST:TOS.
And I certainly do hope that the story carries on in one form or another. We still have the Captain and his human, and the whole alien slave trade threads to build on.
I guess the one good thing about Sarah Janes fate being open ended, is that it means the main show is free to write that ending, which is only right when you think about it.
As for fans making up storys, RTDs has left us with a universe of things to play with, be they Doctor Who things, or things directly related to SJA which is nice.
