RINGER: starring Sarah Michelle Gellar

anyone else watch the 4th episode? i didn't expect that turn of events. figured they would drag it out till at least mid season.

Great ep and it gets more interesting. Next week looks fun.

I'm glad someone found out. Particularly after the false revelation that turned out to be a dream at the start of the episode. But other than that aspect, I do keep finding myself wondering how this show can go on without some major plot shake-ups. Two groups of people trying to kill Bridget can only be believable for so long when she is hanging out in one place in plain sight.

I can definitely say I would have dropped the show by now if it wasn't for SMG.

Tonight, it started on Australian TV, after Terra Nova. It's been okay. But it's not just grabbing me, so I'll watch the rest of it later.

I suspect the people trying to kill Siobhan are people actually hired BY Siobhan to kill Bridgette.

But I could be wrong.

You mean the people trying to kill fake Siobhan, right? Haven't they shown on screen that what you're saying is true? Or am I misunderstanding you?

^Yes, that. We've seen Siobhan calling someone and telling them to kill Bridgette. I assume that's why the guy in the loft (who Bridgette shot) was after her.

So far, Siobhan's plan doesn't make a whole lot of sense. She didn't have a ton of money in that savings account yet it seems to have been her only source of money. And that guy she was having an affair with who swore she was in love with him seems to not be part of her plan. Obviously there must be more going on they haven't revealed because so far I don't get it.

interesting turn of events at the end of tonight's episode. but again, no body so i'm gonna say she's not dead. not yet anyway.

Yeah, I'll believe it when there's a body. It'd be a shame in a way to get rid of one of the few characters on the show so far.

Am I the only one having a hard time caring about the subplot of her sponsor in Wyoming?

^ eh, i just assume its a plot point that will drag along and not change much till mid season.

Hubby, thankfully, deleted the last episode from the DVR. Even he couldn't stomach another episode of this over-blown soap opera.

i still find it enjoyable. honestly, its not as slow moving as i expected it to be.

I'm surprised that I like it, but I really hope they don't drag it out too long, I don't think the premise lends itself to more than one, perhaps two seasons.

Maybe Henry and Siobhan belong together...Siobhan want to kill her sister and seems like a pretty nasty person and Henry is a piece of work who may have killed Gemma. Bridget seems like she is trying to do the right thing...but she is still pretty messed up as well.

So that was the dumbest development so far, right? Bridget is hiding out from the guy she was supposed to testify against and the FBI which is trying to track her down. The FBI guy already has reason to believe Bridget was in NY at some point and that "Siobhan" had contact with her. But any sane person would assume the FBI isn't passing this information along to the guy she was supposed to testify against.

So it looks like Gemma is dead and Bridget knows the location of these bloody rags. Bridget decides to implicate herself in the disappearance of Gemma, thus tying "Bridget" and "Siobhan" and NYC together even more. Can anybody suggest a reason this was a good idea on any level?

^
Yeah, I hope they have a good explanation for that, otherwise this might just be the dumbest thing anyone has ever done on tv...
