Q and A had some great moments though - I loved how all Picard had to do was laugh.
And the fact that there are somebeings that even the Q are fearful around.

Finished Q & A at lunch today. My main issue - I don't get the title. Other than that, and the fact that I thought it hopped around between locations too much, it wasn't bad. Wasn't great either, but okay for a quick read.

Onward to Before Dishonor! I have 21 books left on my list.

Currently reading Typhon Pact Book 4 Paths of Disharmony by Dayton Ward. (I plan on picking up Indistinguishable from Magic this weekend)

Im also on Book 5 of the Sword of Truth series by Terry Goodkind, (the richard/kahlen novels as some call them) its called Soul of the Fire.

I have a copy of Timothy Zahns new Mara Jade novel Choices of One on my dresser I havent cracked open.

I read Sheepfarmer's Daughter by Elizabeth Moon, Theirs is Not to Reason Why: A Soldier's Duty by Jean Johnson, and Doctor Who: Prisoner of the Daleks by Jonathan Morris.

I'm reading an old Tos novel i bought from a used bookstore tos Shellgame bY Melissa Crandall It takes place on a spooky abandoned Romulan space station that ended up in Federation space.I really like the story so far and how the characters are written.

Finished : The Keeper (short story prequel) & Forbidden (Dekker/Lee) - Review below
Reading : Not sure yet........probably whatever Trek book comes next which I think is Orion's Hounds.

Review for The keeper

This was a very short story, but also served as a very nice introduction into Dekker's new book, Forbidden. It not only sets the stage for some of the main elements in the story in a compelling fashion that hooks the reader on this new world very quickly, but it ties the events of this book back into his Circle trilogy which long time Dekker fan's should enjoy.

Review for Forbidden

As a single novel, Forbidden is one of Dekker's best works to date. As an entry point into this new series written with Tosca Lee, it promises to be a fantastic first chapter in a longer, epic story with lots of action, mystery, and unexpected turns. While the book starts off strong and has many of the typical Dekker traits such as intense action, mystery, foreshadowing, and a strong romantic story-line for the protagonist along with a misogynistic antagonist, he also surprised me a few times by the time the book was done. This is a more mature, subtle Dekker and the story benefits from the nuances and twists that are in his latest stories, especially this one.

His pairing with Tosca Lee is completely seamless and I really couldn't tell when one voice ended and the other began. While this book and series has several similarities to Dekker's Circle series, including the fact that the Prequel (The Keeper) ties the two series together, it doesn't feel self-derivative and I was certainly able to enjoy it on it's own terms.

Awesome book, can't wait for the next chapter.

KRAD wrote the book to tie in all of the Q appearances throughout the franchise and to answer the big question, why Q kept screwing around with humanity. It was actually KRAD's then girlfriend, fellow Trek writer TerriO, who suggested he call it Q&A - as in Question and Answer, because it answered all the questions we had about Q.

Ok, now reading Orion's Hounds. (my first book by Christopher, so I'm pretty psyched.)

^You've picked a good introduction to his writing then. He's one of my favorite Trek authors, and OH is one of my favorite books that he's written.

I finally finished Island in the Sea of Time today. Tomorrow would have been one month since I started. I absolutely loved it and I'm really looking forward to reading the rest of the series.

I'm about to start on The Stars Look Down, the final story in Vanguard: Declassified, by David Mack.

Just finished The Stars Look Down. One of the best Vanguard stories so far, 5/5 stars.

About to start on Warehouse 13: A Touch of Fever by Greg Cox.
