There is a theory which states that if ever anyone discovers exactly how awesome Rory is and why he is so awesome it will instantly disappear and be replaced by something even more Rory like and plastic. There is another theory which states that this has already happened but you have to go through Rory to prove it.

Remember what happened to the last universe where Rory Pond didn't exist? He showed up anyway and then it ended.
Rory never actually gave the Cybermen the Doctor's message. He decided to blow up their fleet with his mind instead.

That said its opssible Earth 5556 has been retconed out of Marvel comics, and I dont get the impressiond the Doctor was palling around with Spiderman or taking Gwen Stacey on adventures in time and space.

Just brilliant...we now have the origins of Susan...I always knew who The Doctor was..but Susan we now know to be the legitimate grand-daughter of him too.

His true name is all but unpronounceable to anyone who isn't Gallifreyan, and besides, his relatives soon took to calling him by the derisive nicknames "Snail" and "Wormhole" because of the small indentation-like birth mark he had in the lower portion of his chest. Being Loom-borns, none of them recognised what another species would have said was a belly-button. Unknown to all, including the new born, the Other's genetic material had finally been fully restored to a new body. Snail never fitted in and had no real friends amongst his Cousins."

Rory is so awesome that Nick Furry goes to Rory whenever he needs fashion advice.
Nick Fury once tried to win a staring contest with Rory. Hence the eye-patch.
Well this thread seems to be dying. Oh well, I guess we'll just have to wait till DW comes back this year for Rory to do more awesome stuff so we have more facts to share about him.
