What is your first name?

I'm Stacey.

The first time I recall having to say "I'm a GIRL" was getting my first library card at 4 or 5 years old. I was standing right there in pigtails and a dress. :sigh:

My first name is Richard, but most people call me Rick or RJ. Occasionally Rich. My niece and nephew call me Uncle Ricky.

Another Richard here too. Most folks who know me call me Rich. I only hear Richard in formal situations or when I'm in trouble with Mrs.Q2, then I run for the basement. ;)
I did know one woman who liked to call me Richard. No, it had nothing to do with Paris and, yes, I have no desire to ever run into her again. :rommie:

Heidi ~ (german, Noble one! ~ oh get me!)

I respond to; Heid, Heids, but never, ever 'Heidi Hi'. For those of you not familiar with a dreadful British tv show 'Hi-di-Hi' which was set in a holiday camp ~ consider yourself lucky. I worked briefly at a holiday camp and switched name badges with another girl before I had to kill someone :klingon:

I also respond to Pilsey (Man thinks I have a tummy like the Pilsbury dough boy) and Mug (abbr. of Muggle) when Son was young and lovely he used to be my Buggle ("snuggled as a buggle in a ruggle"), hence the name. ~ Now he's a Bug and I'm a Mug! Funny how it turns out :mallory:

I've legally changed my name twice.

I started off as Heitor. Heitor was a good boy to have come from, but when I began to dress as a girl in high school I adopted Sandra as a part time alter-ego. After high school there was some destructive behavior on my part and by my early twenties I decided that it was time for Sandra to go away. Part of the new better me would come a new full name that more reflected my Portuguese-Brazilian heritage

Great, now I needed to select FOUR new names.

My new first name was Carletta, most of the time I go by Carla.

I should also mention that this friend was male. Very amused when he just suddenly went, "you're a guy, right?"
No insult intended, but was he disappointed too, was he hoping you were a dude?

:)

(Please don't hurt me K'Ehleyr..it's strictly educational) ;)

I'm surprised at the lack of other Brians. Usually there's at least two of us.
There's one person here with the username Brian, so I'll guess he counts. Pretty sure there are at least another two, if not more.

My name is that name which is not the long form of 'John'. When spelled correctly it has only one 'h' and the shortened form has no 'h' at all.

Hope there are more "Richards" on the BBS; we're being over run with Daves. :p

My middle name is Richard. Or does it not count when there's a Dick in the middle?

;)

It seems like there are at least 3 Daves for everyone whose name begins with an odd letter of the alphabet!
