Untold Treks

Actually the chase doesnt really solve the inter species children. From a genetic stand point this is simply impossible (crazy trek science aside). The common ancestors of humanity/everyone else is so far in the past that a human would be more likely to impregnate a goat than a klingon.

Decanonize Nemesis?
Not at all. Data might have twined his consciousness, retaining one of the identical branchings for himself and placing another identical branching within B-4's positronic mind. After a period of adjustment, B-4 becomes Data. Data might do this repeatedly through the centuries, periodically moving into a new and perhaps superior body.

Whatever he commanded between the Battle of Maxia and taking command of the Enterprise might not have been special to him, even though it had to be enough to have him take command of the flagship...
The Stargazer and the starship model in his ready room possess different hull markings, suggesting two different starships of the same class, both of which Picard commanded at different times.

:)

Picard has a painting of his current command in his office, Sisko doesn't,

Suggest that a model in one mans office is a former command and a model in another mans office is a pretty thing.

(raspberry sound)

How about a story testing the new command abilities of Commander Troi? It's she and Worf on the ship while the rest are in the field? Maybe during a two-parter like "Descent" but with more focus on the woman in charge. She carried "Face of the Enemy" well enough, and I liked seeing Crusher in command.

^ Young Picard, Beverly, and Jack Crusher on the Stargazer. Wesley too maybe. Perhaps something during the Cardassian or Talarian wars? I'd suggest the Tzenkethi too but they hadn't been invented yet! Or something revisiting the Tholians or Gorn or First Federation. ...I think revisiting one of these old species/events would fit well in a flashback episode.

I had always wondered what happened to The Guardian of Forever. I mean I assume it's still there on the planet, but did Federation scientists try going back to it to see if they could reactivate it somehow?

^

An episode of the animated series established that the Guardian was studied by the Federation, and in some cases, used for first hand historical observation.

And the Guardian plays a big part in Peter David's novel Imzadi.

Not to mention the cameo it had in the last Pirates of the Caribbean movie...

So people were able to get it to "turn on" other than Kirk? Interesting. I figured it would work only for a select few.

LOL.

For years as a kid, I thought that Klingons mated by exchanging genetic material from under their fingernails.

I would have like a sequel to "The Cage" so we could go back to where Trek started. It could've been a poignant story about the last Talosians. It could've been a nice "tribute" episode during the 25th anniversary, especially if footage from The Cage could be used to have Captain Picard and Captain Pike seem to interact.

A sequel to Star Trek IV where we find out who sent the whale probe, or an encounter with the probe, would've been interesting.

How about a two-parter with the ship separated? A and B stories taking place on each section. It'd have cost a lot to shoot new exterior shots but it would have been cool to see the ship from new angles. Maybe at the end of part one it looks like they'll have to self-destruct a section or say the saucer is captured and towed back to Romulus as a trophy to be erected in some park.

^How do you know it didn't happen. It was kinda implied that Miral was a only child in the "original" timeline.
