Yeah,I heard about that when they first announced her casting and I'm really curious to see her in it.^ Well, she's Maria Hill in The Avengers for Joss.

I don't care that much about the costume -- what surprises me is the complete lack of any footage in which Palicki speaks. I'm more interested in how she wore the character than how she wore the clothes.
I'm sure I'm not the first person to suggest this, but they ought to get the actress who played Sif in the "Thor" movie, Jamie Alexander, to play WW.
God no!10 years ago, the WWE's Chyna would have been an interesting choice for the roll.

I posted something about her upthread around the time Thor came out...I'm sure I'm not the first person to suggest this, but they ought to get the actress who played Sif in the "Thor" movie, Jamie Alexander, to play WW.
I'm pretty sure I read an interview where she said that she'd be interested in the role.
Anyway, here's an interesting little article I found about Thor's Jaimie Alexander...
Read more...It seems just about everything for the new “Wonder Woman” show can be controversial to comics fans — from her outfit to the actress hired — but Jaimie Alexander, who plays Lady Sif in “Thor,” has pretty strong opinions of her own about Diana Prince. In fact, she feels so strongly about the character that she once turned down the role.

I haven't seen that yet but there are more clips: http://blastr.com/2011/07/3-wonder-woman-clips-reve.phpApparently the entire pilot has been leaked on the net.
(yes, the lasso needed post-production work)
Yes, to clarify - I saw that effect as a very rough "first pass" effect which would have been refined in the "final" post-production work before the episode would have aired. The lasso was post-production work. Her lasso throwing and roping were done with CG. In that respect, the article is correct that it was "drawn on top of the scene." I imagine if the pilot had been picked up, the effect would have been improved, however.
