Are you implying that British soldiers and Colonial loyalist lacked honour and courage? You may argue they were on the losing side of history, maybe even on the wrong side, and I might be inclined to see your point. But saying it like that, you sound like a bad impression of Mel Gibson's Patriot.As to your main point--honor and courage don't guarantee victory, but honor gives a motivation to fight, and courage gives a good boost of endurance.
