DC to REBOOT???

RIGHT? It's INSANE. I don't understand why the characters just don't turn to him and go, "Really, Alan? You're taking this Green Lantern thing a little bit to seriously. You look like an idiot. Even your first costume was better. Go change. Now. You fucking moron."

Given the picture in the link, that seems to be the reaction of his teammates.

A Marvel 52? Ooooh this could be fun. I'd have to take a while to think about it. I know who I would want writing Amazing Spider-Man #1 though...Jonathon Hickman.

Could there be a chance that characters like Wally and the 2 Batgirls could possibly pop up as supporting characters in one of the 52? As popular as those characters seem to be, it seems like someone on almost every geek site I've been to since the DCnU was announced is pissed about the 2 Batgirls apparently not being around, and I knew who Wally West was before I even got into the DCU, I find it hard to believe that they would just toss them out completely. But then again, people in similar positions have done things just as stupid in the past.

I doubt actually Wally will be tossed, but they are "retiring" the idea of the JSA, so in affect, tossing them. So, who knows.

There has been some rumor about Wally lately.

According to the solicit for The Flash, Barry encounters a new villain, possibly a speedster, who is a close friend. There is some suspicion that this person is Wally.

NOOOOOOOOOOOO!

Oh, well.

Gail Simone has already said that if no-one else is using Cassandra Cain or Stephanie Brown (2 2 current Batgirls) then they'll appear in her new Barbara Gorden Batgirl book.

A relaunch of 52 Marvel books? A definite requirement; every comic must star Wolverine, Deadpool, or Spiderman. :)

1. Amazing Spider-Man
2. Uncanny X-Men
3. Captain America
4. The Mighty Thor
5. Invicible Iron Man
6. The Avengers
7. The Incredible Hulk
8. Fantastic Four
9. Uncanny X-Force - Rick Remender/Jerome Opena
10. Venom - Rick Remender/Tony Moore
11. Wolverine
12. S.H.I.E.L.D - Jonathan Hickman/Dustin Weaver
13. Daredevil
14. Ghost Rider - Jason Aaron/Clayton Crain
15. Deadpool
16. Punisher
17. Moon Knight
18. Sub Mariner
19. Silver Surfer
20. The Defenders
21. Alpha Flight
22. Black Panther
23. Blade - Steve Niles/Ashley Wood

Well, I've topped out at 22. I guess I don't care enough about Marvel books to come up with 30 more. There's probably some glaring omissions. Also couldn't be that bothered with creative teams.

Power Girl was a pretty fun book to read and I will miss it. The rest not so much. Maybe if someone could do something good with Captain Marvel but I have suffered many years waiting for that to happen.

Captain Marvel just doesn't belong in the DCU and never did. It's a pity that no one apparently sees any commercial value in multiple imprints for this kind of thing.

Just realized that outside of Superman,Batman,Wonderwoman, and now Green Lantern, DC dont seem to have much compared to Marvel with X-men,Thor, Fantastic 4, Hulk, Iron Man,Punisher, Captain America, Spiderman etc.

That was one of their original ideas when they brought back the multiverse in 52. They'd put the Fawcett/Quality/Charlton properties on their own Earths with their own books. It was too bad the idea was nixed.
