Wasn't Gilmore killed in one of the novellas in Distant Shores? I seem to recall someone (I think it was Kirsten Beyer) once saying that they liked that ending for her and would keep it in mind when writing things regarding the Equinox crew.
Oh, I read you post. I think I might have just mistood you, I thought you were saying that the new movie wiped out TOS. And I would also really enjoy seeing something about Voyager's pre-Admiral Janeway time trip journey home. IMO that would be the perfect topic for a Myriad Universes story.I'm really starting to wonder if you read my postBut time travel didn't render TOS obsolete, they say right in the movie that it is simply a parallel universe.
God, I'm really starting to wonder if people even listen to the dialogue in movies anymore.
If Spock and Nero going back and changing history created an alternate timeline (nitpicky: the word "parallel" isn't actually used in the movie but it is in the novelization), Admiral Janeway's going back and changing history did too. And so also concurrently exists is the timeline from "Yesterday's Enterprise" and every other version of history visited in any Trek ever along with infinite others. According to the multiverse theory, timelines aren't destroyed, only new ones created (and "created" is a very loose term, since there are universes for every possible outcome of every event, anywhere, ever)
M'kay?
I wish Ada Maris could do an audiobook adaptation of the Destiny trilogy.
If I may:
5. Publish Slings & Arrows in TPB.
6. A Starfleet Medical starship ebook series that I would not buy until it hit TPB.![]()
How about a series of Starship Exeter novels based on the semi-retired fan production?
Only retitle it Star Trek - Exeter.

Make all Star Trek books eBooks only until you buy a Reader (not Kindle) and buy Star Trek eBooks. I think that would do.
I agree Greg there should be Startrek books available for everyone to read not just books only available on e-readers. alot of people still like to buy old fashioned printed books and buy them. I still want to see Sling and Arrows printed as a treade paperback. If I may:

Why "only"? Why can't the rest of us keep reading our boring, old-fashioned "dead tree" books? And people who like ebooks can read things the newfangled way.
Something for everybody . . . .

I agree. New technology is evil. Well, some of it, anyhow.
.
I was kidding guys. Stop taking everything so seriously. Seeing the funny side makes life in general, and the day in particular, easier to survive.
Except for the part about preferring "dead tree" books. I was serious about that.
