"Aw, don't you look adorable all dowsed in blood!"
I would say that, but only because I'm a smart-ass. You could probably pull it off. Way better than I did, at the very least.

Kommander, that looks fantastic! You have a gift, my friend!
Thanks. I'm surprised it turned out as well as it did, considering it's only my second project. It's a more ambitious project than I should be attempting at my skill level. However, I'm trying to impress a girl, so there you go.

To be honest, I'd uh... I'd find it pretty hot.
You and me both, my brother. I can't wait to get this thing finished and in the mail so she can get to the photo shoots.

throw in some spiky pauldrons and you'd set a new fashion trend
Dammit. Before I package and ship everything, I also have to make a bikini bottom, skirt, bracers, anklets, bicep armbands, chokers, a headband, and a bunch of decorative chains. Not to mention making the cloth linings and straps, and I have to write an instruction manual (The design is very complex and it comes apart in a lot of places.) Stop giving me ideas that mean more work and buying more tools!

Random shot of my daughter. God, I can't believe she's almost two - times flies.

DarkHelmet, that picture is absolutely ADORABLE!!! :adore:

AnOfficer, great pic's! May I ask what your new camera is? I got one myself recently, and am loving experimenting with it. I just got another lens for it, as well (which I promised The Hubby will be the last ... for awhile.) :mallory:

I as well. Seriously, tsq with a broadsword in a chainmail bikini kicking ass. That's really, really hot. And I'd never dare call a woman holding a sword "cute"

Great work on the bikini, Kommander! :bolian:

Thanks! And it's a Canon 550D, the lens I'm using there is the Canon EF-S 18-135 mm. Have you posted your experiments yet? I would love to see them.

EDIT: Just saw the cruise shots you last posted... the first three are my favourites, and the palm tree most of all - so serene, and the light is gorgeous!

That looks like something we eat here, it's a regional dish we call gnocco fritto (or crescentine, depending on place). Usual condiment are salami, bologna, squacquerone cheese, or lard. Yum.

I knew there was a reason I liked Italians. Besides my girlfriend being one, that is.

Also, here's a few pictures I took when I was visiting Pittsburgh last weekend:

If you make me one of those bikinis I'll pay with a picture. Seriously, it's all I can afford -- starving artist and all. Someone will have to provide me with the broadsword too. I think I take care of the severed head, though.

;)

Hmm... for just a top, that might be doable. If the picture is for my portfolio and not just for me too look at. You're attractive and all, but these things take a lot of work.

Oops, I meant broadsword, not bastard sword. Here it is:

^Isn't the head supposed to look like that after it's been lopped off?

As for swords, only have some katanas, and they don't set quite the right tone. Sephiroth's suggestion of claymore or bastard sword would be pretty awesome. If Anything we found a pretty good recipe for fake blood back in film school.

Great, just what I needed. Some over excited dude posting pics of his sword online.

It's my long sword, too. :adore:

Possibly, but I am not willing to test your theory.

I'm a dagger person, myself. I have three or four of them, and they all have neat little inscriptions and tassels on them.

You people and your sword-comparison chat amuses this poster to no end. :guffaw:

Nice. I was this close >.< to going with the 550D, myself, when the Nikon D7000 appeared on my radar screen and had some features I'd been waiting for to appear on a "prosumer" camera. And thanks for the compliments on the shots. Still figuring this beast out, but I'm picking it up, and I really do love the camera. Have fun with yours!
