These are usually dipped in honey. But I have seen green chili or other filling stuffed ones.That looks like something we eat here, it's a regional dish we call gnocco fritto (or crescentine, depending on place). Usual condiment are salami, bologna, squacquerone cheese, or lard. Yum.![]()

I have had fried bread dough with powdered sugar and with peanutbutter and with both. but it looked alot bigger than that.
