Which Trek series would you like one more season of?

Enterprise is the obvious choice here, IMO. All other series' had their seven years (not counting TOS here, of course, but that's ancient history anyway).

DS9 and TNG left us with a warm sense of closure at the end, while Voyager could have benefited from an additional episode or two. I always felt Endcrap ended abruptly.

Enterprise fans, however, got their closure with "Terra Prime"... Well, sort of. That episode kinda felt like ENT's funeral, quiet and decent, profoundly sad and even bitter, but undeniably beautiful. Then, just minutes after it was laid to rest, the Beebs came, dug out the corpse and started sodomizing it.

No more impractical than running out the TNG gang again. They looked old and tired in Nemesis and that was what 2003, 2004?

TOS ended fairly decently. TNG and DS9 both ended beautifully. VOY only needed something like an additional half-hour to close out properly.

ENT, however, needed multiple further seasons.

Surprisingly, DS9 is in last place currently. I would have thought third place for sure.

My vote was for the original Star Trek. While the third season was hit and miss, there were some fine episodes in the mix. A fourth season in 1969 through 1970 would have been interesting.

My second place choice would be DS9, would like to see the reconstruction of Cardassia and the life of Sisko's family without him and Julian and Ezri's romance and a thousand other things. That would make me very happy.

While I would have loved to see more seasons of TOS, it ended before I was born. I also consider TAS the unofficial 4th season. I would say the love I have for that show is a result of it being cancelled early and put into syndication, and there is a good argument to be made that had it not been the show it is that had fans that felt the show should have gone on longer, we wouldn't have seen any Star Trek movies, or the later incarnations TNG, DS9, VOY, or ENT.

But.. THE FIFTH SEASON.

I would have loved to see much of those, too. But I also think they ended DS9 really well they way they did. It was a missed opportunity that they didn't have a DS9 film or two, or a mixed DS9/TNG cast film, centered around some of those points, and the return of Sisko.

Mostly agree, but I thought the VOY finale was just fine the way it was. ENT should have had seen at least a season 5 to wrap things up better, and also have some foreshadowing of not just the Romulan War, but for TOS in general, to better tie it to TOS.

Honestly? I think TNG, DS9, and VOY each ran for two seasons too long. And if TOS had a fourth season under the conditions it was being produced at the time, it would have been fucking horrible. IMHO, only ENT deserved more seasons, which is ironic since I never liked that show.
