Seems like there's not much to say when life revolves around bowel and bladder. Sigh. Well, actually there IS something else going on: There was some confusion with the visiting nurses association about my insurance plan changing (effective May 1), so I'm on a week's "vacation" from my wound vac, PT, etc, until my first check to the new plan is far enough through the system that they can verify the policy! That's making for some interesting times. ;-)

Yikes! You'd think the plan could be verified before it kicks in. The important thing is that you're not on a dessert vacation for a week -- that would be altogether cruel.
I would call the insurance company and ask them to get enrollment to expedite it; they should be able to do that, given the circumstances.
^Believe me, I'd already tried that long before I posted. Nothing they can do. Or rather, nothing they are WILLING to do. Grr.

I hate being dependent! I hate how anxious I get when I'm alone for more than a couple hours. I am not by nature a particularly anxious person. "By nature" basically meaning prior to rape/PTSD/cancer. A friend visited this evening while my FFH was out; that helped enormously, but unfortunately it was also a rare luxury.
You won't always be dependent. You'll be up and around before you know it. But yeah, I know what you mean. Having to depend on someone else is a bit nerve-racking.
