YUCK. That definitely does NOT sound fun. Well, at least you're back now.

Ah, I have been falling behind in teh funnies. Here you go:

((((((((Ziyal)))))))) Sorry to hear about the setback. Glad you're back on the mend.

I'm glad the last hospital visit was a "quickie."

Progress is a very good thing. Of course, I've never been good at delayed gratification, but sometimes you just have to wait it out for the good times.

I know. That sucks. :(

Are you able to catch up with your reading? Developing any new interests? If you like reading, and you like mysteries, I'd recommend Tony Hillerman (Navaho tribal police stories for the win!) and Aaron Elkins (Gideon Oliver, archaeologist and forensic anthropologist who keeps coming across murders).

I know when I was sick, reading was all I felt like doing. Getting out of bed and going out? Nah.

Hugs!

Thanks for checking in, guys. I had some good stuff going on, and then a setback...

Just got "home" to my FFH's house a couple hours ago after two nights back in the hospital. Had a vicious UTI. Three days of IV antibiotics, to be followed up by five days of oral antibiotics will hopefully do the trick.

God, I hated being back in the hospital!!!!!

Ewwwwww...I'm sorry to hear that. I'm glad you're back and I hope to hear better news soon.

As if it were posted JUST for you, Meesha's owner put up the "director's cut" of "Cute Kitten Hugs Teddy Bear"!

Ended up back in the ER hours after I posted. Thank God they didn't admit me. I'm very tired and don't feel well...

^Sending you good vibes. And they're free, too. Usually I charge $9.99 per vibe.

I hope you get some sleep and have peaceful, loving dreams. :)

I saw my cat today. She's sooo fluffy :D. If only I had my phone at that point, I could've filmed it. I'll try to get one at some point.

Get well soon Ziyal! :)

Thank you, EVERYONE. You have all been supportive for so long, and I appreciate it so much.

Auntiehill, I can so relate to that kitty!

AJ, you have good taste in mysteries. :) I've read all of Hillerman's. Since you like them, you should try Margaret Coel's Wind River Reservation series. Unfortunately, I have to be real careful with mysteries these days, because of my PTSD. Can't handle much violence. But I've been reading other stuff, including some old Star Trek novels (Am I allowed to mention Trek in this folder?) And I might try some knitting or needlepoint -- haven't done either for years.

Scottiedog, thanks for the freebies.

What is this "Trek" thing of which you speak? ;)

Thanks for the heads-up on Coel. I'll look for it. I love that kind of stuff. One of the things I like about such books is that they show that there are "alien" cultures right in our back yard -- we don't need to go to the stars just for that. (That being said, I really DO wanna go to the stars!)

Hugs!

Tony

Have you ever read Asimov's Black Widower or Union Club mystery collections? No violence there at all.

Scottiedog, thanks for the freebies.

You're very welcome.

There are many other things you can have that are free -- my hugs, my smiles, my thoughts, my prayers, my loving wishes for you. Just not my chocolate -- that'll cost ya!

I second this. I remember racing to the bookstores to buy Asimov's latest Black Widower or Union Club books. He was the most remarkably versatile and prolific author EVER.
