After entertaining millions with their wedding, the royal newlyweds are ready to hit Tinseltown.
Before
Prince William and his new bride
Kate Middleton actually do jet off on their actual honeymoon, they'll be rumored to have hit nearly every country on this planet—including the United States. Hooray for Hollywood!
So is this real-life visit a trip to see
their pals David and
Victoria Beckham? And did the killing of
Osama bin Laden ruin their post-wedding trip?!
Even though he's
back to work today, the prince and his new bride will take that break at some point, and they're likely to make a stop in Hollywood this summer in their first overseas visit as a married couple, says royal biographer
Andrew Morton in
The Morton Report.
They'd have to pencil their
wedding guests Posh and Becks into their packed schedule, because these royal kids only have two days to tour the glitzy movie town, says Morton. (Morton wrote the famous biography of Wills' mom, the late
Princess Di.)
The twosome, who—in case you've been living under a rock or
hiding out in a mansion in Pakistan—were married on Friday in the most magical,
fairy tale wedding of all time, ever. They decided to skip an immediate honeymoon—rumored to have been taking place in Kenya, Jordan and even Romania—so Wills could get back to work as an RAF Search and Rescue pilot
Now, there's mounting speculation that they had canceled the trip after a call from their country's prime minister,
David Cameron, who had been made aware (in no specific terms) of the impending attack on Osama's mansion in Pakistan.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are now planning a break—still not their honeymoon—together this summer in late June or early July. (Kate did
just buy those summer dresses and all.)
The couple will tour Canada, visiting Prince Edward Island, Quebec, Alberta and Northwest Territories, remaining in the country for Canada Day on July 1.
After that, it's California or bust for the duo, whom we're sure will be treated to A-list treatment in the City of Angels
