I just bought these babies. I wanted something higher but this was my version of a compromise with reality. Sensible, I think.

Those look nice, Kestra! You know, I think most women love shoes the same way most men love cars. They're exciting, make us feel young and full of life, and they come in all shapes, sizes and colors. It's almost like candy, therefore, men and women who love shoes and cars really love candy!

I actually hated shoe shopping for the longest time. My mom or sis would have to drag me into the store as my shoes were falling apart. In recent years though, not only have I come to appreciate shoes, I actually find myself looking them up online just for fun!

I'm sure it's not that bad! I'm not good in heels myself and I usually stick to flats because of my back. But I like to have a few pairs of heels around and these were only three inches as opposed to the four or more I usually long for.

Ah, now that's an interesting choice. I do have one pair of grey shoes in a sort of mottled/variegated finish that may well work with this suit and I hadn't thought of using them with this suit before. Great idea.

Three Star Trek soundtrack CD's from Amazon are winging their way to me as we speak. They are:

The double feature CD of "Amok Time and "The Doomsday Machine" from TOS.

The CD that has "Mirror, Mirror", "By Any Other Name", "The Trouble With Tribbles", and "The Emapath".

And finally, "The Best of Both Worlds" from TNG.

I now have every TNG soundtrack on CD. I think. I'll have to find a list somewhere to confirm this.

All three purchases were replacing old cassettes that I can't play because I don't have a tape player anymore.

My latest purchase: two tickets for Linkin Park (one for me, one for my sister). Them be playin' in Hamburg. Them awesome.

It'll be the second time I see them live, too. This is great. Last year I went to Munich to see Green Day, this year it's Chester!!!!!! I am one happy fangirl.
