U.S.S Pierce

XFozzboute

Captain
In Memoriam
Here is another ship I'm working on. Loosely based on one of the concepts for Voyager. And named for make-up master Jack Pierce.
About the same size as the U.S.S. Soval.

My only problem here, and I have the same one with the Soval design, is these aren't just one ship. It is hard to get a grasp of the design if you have a bunch of different views with different parts missing or moved or altered in each one.

Technically very well done, and possibly even great designs but I can't say for sure until I can actually see the design as it is meant to be seen.

Well they are wip images so things will get moved around and changed. Some things get added just to help me determine scale. So I really only show off the bits that I'm working on.

I guess it was only a matter of time until someone decided to try and recycle that concept. And why not, especially given how much detail it was illustrated in?

She looks like she could be a potential replacement for the Miranda class. I kind of like how she incorporates design elements from the Sovereign, Intrepid, Nova, Nova (etc.) classes on the bottom hull section.

BTW, is the Civil War logo that you have on the images supposed to refer to that fan story of an alternate timeline where Leyton's coup was successful, or some other alternate timeline? I suppose I could try searching for your other topics containing your vessels from that era, but I'm kinda feel a little to lazy to do so!

I really really really like how the impulse engines seem to reference various shuttlecraft designs (particularly their nacelles). Its different from the usual impulse look.

Never saw these pictures before. I had one top down view from Star Trek The Magazine and that was as a Voyager concept.

The Civil War thing was just an idea I've been playing around with involving section 31 and those alien parasites in that episode of TNG that we never saw again after that guys head exploded.

I was just trying to fill in that area because from the front it looked very bad.
