Survivor: Redemption Island Discussion (Spoilers)

I'm loving watching poor widdle Russell scramble all over the place for the idol while Ralph's already got it.

He will fing out soon enough and get pissed. He's going to have to find one more person to ally with, but nobody likes him, so he's screwed.

I think Russell would have been less suspicious if David had put more effort into selling it, instead of standing there and staring dumbly at the puzzle.

Yeah, I think what's-her-name (I already forgot :alienblush:) is going to flip, forgetting the fact that even if Russell might bring his group to the end--there's only going to be a top three, so she'll still be the odd one out in Russell's alliance.

YES! I'm so glad Julie stayed with her original group. But I'm also glad Russell went out because it wiped that smug look off of Stephanie's face.

If Ressell survives RI. he's going to come full force against them.

Well that was unfortunate. Russell was the best thing about this season. I hope he can find a way to stay in it. If they bring the Redemption Island person back into the game at the merge, then I believe he would have to win four challenges on Redemption Island...not likely, but I can hope!

Anyone planing on watching tonight? Last week I was talking to myself. Which is not unusual.

Being on Pacific Standard Time always leaves me late to the party when it comes to commentary threads. You don't want to be spoiled by previous comments, or be redundant and point out the same stuff everyone's already talked about.

This episode actually managed to almost make me root for Gollum for once, because he recognized that they threw the challenge (mainly because of that idiot on the puzzle who didn't even try and fake it) and because of how incredibly stupid it is to throw a challenge, especially this early on and when you're only up by two. I was hoping he could pull off the turnaround, but no dice.

Stephanie (Gollum's cheerleader) irritates me though with how much of a sycophant and how full of herself she is, so as said above, it was worth it to see the smirks wiped off her and Russell's faces after the vote.

No crazy Philip this episode, which was disappointing, though he looks to be back in top form by next week.

I didn't think Franchezcua would have a chance against Matt, so I was pleasantly surprised to see her winning for 3/4ths of the challenge before it all fell apart. The challenge did seem to be a bit in his favor with the longer arms though, since she had trouble even reaching that last key. That being said, Matt seems like a good guy and a good competitor, so I'm happy still seeing him around too, and interested in seeing him face off against Gollum next week.

The girl who's already crying over Matt needs to get a friggin' grip though, since she'd known him all of six days.

Every tribal council so far has been great, with lots of surprises and accusations. Hopefully they can keep that up for a while.

And what the hell does Stephanie think she's going to do without Russell? "Storm's a-coming"? She does realize that almost the entire tribe is against her, right?
