The recap in the beginning of What Was Lost - Part 1 is annoying because there are new scenes in it. I assume that those were cut from the season premiere because of lack of time.

Personally, I like "I Yensch, You Yensch" Yeah, the non-main character stuff (avoiding specifics to prevent spoilerage) is... not compelling, but there's definitely some interesting stuff there (especially with the aforementioned, Scorpius/Rygel stuff, it really shows how far along Rygel's come that he manages to pull off what he does in this episode and make it believable. D'argo's scenes, though minimal, I find to be rather hilarious, overall...

The Moya scenes are... harrowing, as they do a good job of encapsulating the central moral issues of the season (Talyn's insanity, the necessity of doing something about the wormhole situation, Aeryn and Chrichton2's relationship status, Chiana's 'gift', etc.), with both the bar and the Moya scenes dovetailing into a situation that does nicely set up the upcoming 2-3 parter season closer...

But yeah, the monkey aliens were just irritating, though I admit, I have long ago co-opted one of their catchphrases in my everyday vocabulary... lol

Just started a rewatch from Netflix.

Went thru Premiere, Exodus from Genesis and Throne for a Loss - is this the Telecast order? I seem to remember thinking that I, ET (which I remember that I kinda liked when I first saw it) as the second ep.

Premiere (why the 'e' at the end) is a pretty decent setup. I wish the graphics for the docking web - there's a subsequent ep (Throne for a loss) where Crichton asks Pilot to capture somebody using the tractor beam. Pilot: *looks strangely at Crichton* What's a tractor beam? C: The way you got me onto the ship P: I did that using the docking web. C: Use the docking web to capture that ship P: They are too far for that). I just thought that tractor beam reference was hilarious - when Crichton is captured were better. Oh well.

Aeryn looked hot and young with her hair not being as straight as they were in the later seasons.

How tall is Virginia Hey? She seemed as tall as Crichton.

Exodus from Genesis gave me a zombie vibe.

I truly liked Throne for a Loss. Including the Consortium of Traal (sp?) representative (questionable puppetry tho') and that the final resolution was just talk it over. Was vaguely disturbed that Zhaan's "protege" chooses to go back on the juice. The characters won outrageously and then one of them (Zhaan) lost a personal battle. I remember always liking that about Farscape.

I, ET begins with Crichton using the word "hezmana". I remembered that I, ET seemed to show the first "bonding" of the Moya Escaped Prisoners. But I think Crichton using the word "hezmana" at the beginning seemed kinda odd. (Even tho' he's responding to D'Argo who uses it first). But haven't finished watching that ep.

    Anybody else just beginning too?

"I, ET" should have been the second ep. Netflix Instant has them listed in a slightly different order. I'm not sure how it will affect things down the road.

It's actually weird - after Throne for a loss, they put me on onto PK Tech Girl (which I have NEVER watched) and I remembered that it's supposed to happen close to the middle of the season. Then looked into it and found I, ET which I've begun but had to end that 10 mins in.

I think for some reason their discs have the episodes all "mixed"up.

Is there a way to watch it with commentaries or subtitles via their streaming feed, that I'm missing?

Netflix stream has the episodes in the order they aired on TV.

The DVD has them in the production order.

I just watched season's 3 Relativity and that has to be the stupidest episode I have seen yet. I can't believe how stupid it is. We can't trust this guy, but we trust him to shoot... yeah like I believ that person is dead.

Ridiculous would have been a better title.

Sci-fi/Syfy/Skiffy had I, E.T. moved to later in the season because they thought it was a weak episode.

Just so I'm clear..........the entire episode is ridiculous and stupid because in a very emotional and confusing moment, John and Aeryn accept Crais's offer to kill someone who's out to capture them all and hand them all over the the Peacekeepers?? :wtf:

Granted, I never thought that Crais would actually kill her because of how they filmed the episode and because it's Farscape. However, from the story's point of view, Crais had plenty of motive to kill Xhalax, not the least of which was self preservation and his affection for Aeryn.

No that's just one of the many things wrong. Three people need to create a distraction? two would have been fine. Aeryn should have locked up her mother in a cell, but then 40 minutes of the show would have never have happened. it was just insanely stupid and unbelievable!

Well, I did remember thinking the same thing when I first watched it, though it certainly didn't bother me as much as it did you. The only thing is whether Talyn had a cell or if Aeryn felt Xhalax was safest where Aeryn could keep an eye on her. Still, I have to concede that it was sloppy to allow Xhalax to get loose after being captured. I guess you can either chalk it up to lazy writing in that instance - or - Aeryn wasn't thinking very clearly having just knocked out her mom who she hasn't seen in years and years and who's out to kill her now.

Everyone makes mistakes. Aeryn probably underestimated Xhalax whom she had not seen for years. Besides in that part Aeryn left Talyn in a hurry and she probably relied Stark and Rygel to keep an eye on her.

oh man - I shouldn't read this thread. I had forgotten all about Aeryn Sun's mommy issues and it all slowly started coming back as I read the posts. It would have been more fun to come across the ep and be surprised at what happens. And not know who ends up killing who.

The nice thing is that it'll probably till middle of the year before I get to that ep.

^ I was trying to be vague in my first post on the topic, but that didn't last.

I have liked the next few episodes after it a lot, that episode was just bleh. I'm on a two parter right now... I must stop watching the show! I don't own Peacekeeper Wars yet and I'm flying through it.

One little non-spoiler about the last episode you watched, PsychoPere, is that you just saw your last Nebari (aside from Chiana, obviously). There could've been such a cool storyline there with her species and the disease they were spreading across the galaxy. Alas, nothing will ever come of it.

That's really lame. I was hoping we would see her brother and hear about the fight. Now I rather her brother was dead. Could have been great with a huge war with wormholes and diseases.

I'll just blame it on no season 5. Damn assholes.

I'm right after the Loonie Tunes episode. Classic.

I'm hoping the Nebari will make a comeback in the comics, which have been fantastic so far.
