I suppose not, but until we get confirmation, one can never be sure about these things.

A function of the fact that Starz is helping pay for making The New World along with BBC Wales, no doubt.
I would assume that "Torchwood: A New World" will be carried on Space. They've shown all three series of Torchwood previously before. I assume they still have the Canadian rights for the show.
You need to buy individual rights for each season, although it's only sensible that you are given the first option for the following seasons if you get to write your own contracts.
However, by calling the new Season Torchwood A new World, it's effectively a spin off of Torchwood enough to not be covered under any previous contracts about the continuing seasons of plain and simple Torchwood if some one wants to set their lawyers to asshole.
Starz has put enough money into this that they want to rerun the shit out of it before anyone gets the surprise rights to also broad cast the new season in competition of their reruns.
Anyone seen Party Down?
Good show on Starz which was cancelled.
Starz has a relationship with a lot of really talented actors from this series that they may want to nudge in Torchwoods direction.

She used to have dirtyblond hair.
It's a look.

Space has made a big deal about their acquisition of "Doctor Who" last year so I think they will make a concerted effort to acquire Torchwood: A New World as well. It would be logical of them to do so.
If Starz is available in Canada, I would think that's where it will be.

But that's really just Canadians pretending to be American from the comfort of their own Canadian homes by "renting" a simple decoder box.
For security you'd wonder how Starz could service Canadian homes, if they would, because of how complicated it must be to repossess that unusually expensive hardware "internationally", that lies would have to be told surely.
Can you imagine the Canadian Government trying to jam America TV seeping across the boarder because they don't have a "say" in the morality and content of the transmission seducing and corrupting their youth?

That's where I know her from, and I believe she was great in Dollhouse. The Premise of Dollhouse, was they were "mind-wiped slaves" that were programmed to be various different people. Sometimes they were prostitutes, so you have various different dirty girls, suzy homemakers, etc to fulfill men's fantasies, other times they would be assasins, etc. In most shows where the characters play different personalities, it is the character acting those different personalities out, so, you're supposed to sometimes see flaws in their portrayals, in DollHouse, they were programmed with those personalities, so it was the actor playing various different parts, really getting to flex their acting muscles, palying a different character each week (and of course their "at rest Doll" state.
I think Doll House's main ratings problem was that Joss felt the need to make many of the early episodes extremely misogynistic (so the Series Finale had major payoff), and that misogyny turned alot of the female viewers off, so, that really cut into the numbers it could achieve.
