(lest you overestimate my sister's age, her sister in law is many years older, and her niece is just a few years younger than I am! :p)

Ella and her mom. She liked her first Christmas!

^ McCoy fan? I think you could definitely give Tonia Barrows a run for her money. :techman:

I most certainly am a McCoy fan . Shore Leave is one of my favourite episodes. I shall take that Yeoman Barrows comment as a compliment - thank you :)

This isn't the best photo of me but it's the most recent I could find from August this year.

Nice to have a face to go with the name. Where was the pic taken?

It was taken on a friend's boat. We live in Edinburgh and one day he, his wife, her son and I went across the Firth of Forth (north of Edinburgh).

*Seeker* the baby is gorgeous! What fun - first Christmas! Does she get a baby brother Eomer for next Christmas?

I might need a longboat and a warhammer, but some pillaging seems to be right in my current frame of mind. Probably fit in the ravaging of a few fair maidens in the interim as well.

only maidens huh?

Well, that's certainly the way it was meant! :)

You know, I think McCoy is my favorite TOS character, too...just without the . ;)

Seeker, this picture is amazing!! She is so incredibly beautiful. My kids are all grown up and your pictures and her smiling face reminded me of what xmas was like when they were little. Thanks for these pictures.

^ My favourites are the top left and bottom right. I would bend the cap in the middle a little though, so it wasn't so boxy, but that's just me, I know a lot of people wear it extra straight these days, especially teenagers. It's very possible I'm not quite "with it" right now.

I've seen that! And the bill is pointed at 2 o'clock (if your nose is noon)and they leave the gold sticker with the size on the top of the bill.

^ Exactly so. I truly have no idea what that's all about. It's times like these I'm glad my teenage years were in the 90's. I would have preferred the 80's, but you can't have everything. :D

the Enterprise hat isn't helped by being made of thick wool.

good for keeping you dry when it's pissing with rain (which is when i wear it), but not so good for the rest of the time.

i was trying to look hard in the beret, but i think i came off looking more like an irate Frenchman...
