I don't mind the departure from 24th century they just look more Star Wars-ish...than original.

just to point out, if they looked more "Star Trek-ish" they wouldn't be original, either. :bolian:

Here is a teaser image of what I have so far for my 1701-F for the Contest
I won't post anymore until after the contest, but I thought I would wet the pallette.
I can't wait to see what everyone comes up with. Good luck to all who enter.

That is a very interesting sillhouette. Cannot wait to see a more detailed picture of this design.

It's not my cup of tea, but it does seem to echo some of the design theory in the game.

Yeah, the front of the saucer and having the nacelle pylons jut out of the cut in the bottom of the engineering hull doesn't really work.

saucer cant decide whether to be voyager shaped or ent-d shaped. also nacelle-pylon-shelf thing a bit odd.

    nice nacelles though!

I will go against the crowd and say that I really like the saucer on Dac's ship. The way the nacelle pylons connect to the secondary hall looks kind of weird to me though.

Hmmm. Great minds thing a like.
I experimented with a Crescent style myself years ago.
I'm going in a much different direction that everyone else here it seems.

    Thanks Herkimer.

Its still really in a concept phase. Im just experimenting with bits and bobs. Im really trying to blend the E-D/E with the E-J, hence the pointy bits at the end of the nacelles and the "reach around" secondary hull.

I dig the low slung pylons though, because it gives it the look of the Enterprise-D from the front, but the instant you change angle it looks like something else entirely. Plus, its something we don't see a lot of in trek, so thats another reason I like it.

As for the saucer, I see what you guys mean, it does kinda stick out like a sore thumb a bit. Im gonna try and blend it out a little so it doesnt jut out quite so much.

Dac, try ending the nacelle pylon "shelf" at the back of the ship where the undercut begins on the secondary hull. It might look less tacked on from the rear view.

Nice, that top view silhouette definitely has my interest. The saucer section in particular looks pretty exciting.

Also digging Dac's design, especially the low slung pylons and saucer shape. Always loved the Galaxy-class, and the design so far has that vibe, while still looking like something that could come between the E-E and E-J.

I know I said I wouldn't post anymore Ent-F Teasers, but I figured i would show the other configuration that I had in mind.
I will more than likely complete both concepts. And depending on the rule to the contest enter them both, but for now
here is the other silhouette of the other design that I am working on.

Titan Designer, I like the side views on both, the second better, but I'm really not a fan of either saucer from the top views...

Dac, I'm really liking it! Aside from that bit that sticks out at the front of the saucer, I really like how the saucer looks.
