He actually said that!
We were standing up to get a picture, and he says, "Now, I've always wanted to say this", looks at me, points and says, "This guy here, this is the guy!" and we started laughing. He is terrific.

Marc Alaimo seen off stage:

What's funny about that one is that my friend actually took the picture. He sees Alaimo and says, "Mr. Alaimo, may I please get your picture?", and Marc says "Yes, but make it quick", and the way he says it sounds just like Dukat giving a command and I just about fainted. . He's a very friendly man, though, and a terrific actor.

What happened to his hand?

I don't know. He didn't say anything about it.

Here's Armin Shimmerman while signing autographs. My friend and I wanted a picture and we asked if we could take a photo and the Creation agent sitting there says "no, you can't", and Armin interrupts him with "why not? As long as I don't pose for it", which was true, because it wasn't technically a photo op, and so we got the shot. After the shot, he smiled at us and thanked us for coming to the convention. Great guy.

He didn't charge you any strips of latinum?

Nope, didn't charge me anything. Armin really is a spectacular guy, a wonderful actor, and a lot of fun to talk to.

Oh man I LOVE conventions. Those are amazing photos J. Allen. I went to the Calgary con a few months ago (where I got my pic with Mr. Nimoy ) and I must've annoyed the hell out of so many people because I snapped about 2600 pics in 2 days so many good memories!

I really really wish I could afford to go to the San Diego con. Or at least WonderCon. I think my next one is going to be the TrekCon here in Vancouver though. This year in June, Leonard Nimoy and Bill Shatner were both there (photo ops with both!!!) but unfortunately I couldn't afford to go. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!

Thanks, Firecrackerrr! I love your pictures, too! I particularly like the Orion slave girl pic. It reminds me of when we had our party in the hotel room Friday night, and two of the people there were two women dressed as mirror universe starfleet crew (like Uhura). Both scantily clad, both gorgeous, and both willing to act out various mirror universe activities with some of us.

This was my first convention, and it was a blast! I have already decided to save up for next year, and as often as I can in the future.

I've been considering going as Mirror Universe Janeway instead of regular Janeway complete with black gloves, black leather corset over the starfleet uniform, some battle scars and hair gelled back. I'm actually considering it
