Ouch that sounds nasty. I broke my ankle in three places last january. I had some surgery and as a result I have a nice big scar on either side of my feet. They too stitched me up, but taking the stitches out wasn't too bad (for me anyways).I'm super light-weight and get basically drunk after a glass of wine (it's my borg past) so last night I drank two glasses for the first time in weeks and well, kind of started to dance to MJ with my friend when I slipped, knocked over the porcelain bowl my cat drinks water out of and fell. I started to laugh not thinking much of it when my friends suddenly looked at me all horrified. Turns out I destroyed the bowl, I have a 1cm deep cut on my foot and 1.2" wide and the blood was literally gushing out Kill Bill style. They did 4 (or 5 maybe? I was delirious) stitches. My first time getting stitches and it suuuuucks.

What's worse is that the stitches will have to be taken out in a week. Don't they have some kinda stitches that dissolve? Damn it!
Then 3 months later they surgically took out some of the metal, and stitched me up again. It wasnt a pretty sight. I was out of comission for over 3 weeks.
